Lee Brown is the best left back we have had at the gas since Vaughan Jones. Lee Brown is probably the best left back in league 2 and will probably one of the best left backs in league 1. Defends well creates chances for others and chips in with a few goals a season. I know you are entitled to an opinion Kingswood gas but in my opinion if you believe Lee Brown is poor then you know nothing about football.

It'll be interesting to see who's the LB in the Div 2 team of the season but until we've played a few Div 1 sides you can't really judge the standard of the LB's. As far as contracts for next season I understood Easter & Gaffney along with Sinclair had already signed contracts?

Browner has played a huge part in our success over the last 2 seasons,no doubt about that at all.I do worry that he will get done for pace more often when we're in league1 next season.

He nèeds to seriously up his defending now. He has been poor for too long and would be the first one to sign a new contract as he is a no hoper. Ummmm, seriously? No really, seriously? Really? Wow!

You have no clue what you are talking about he is one of the best LB in the league Please explain how without using the word loyal Ever present, good goals to appearances ratio for a full back. Picked last year for England C. And let's see, better than anyone else we have in that position.

Oh wow a different opinion from someone who actual goes to games better all have a sulk To be honest, your opinion is worthless. You made it clear you think DC is clueless and many other players who have actually been excellent.

Apart from surely Lockyer and also possibly Taylor plus Mildenhall since his return to the side, to break Stuart Taylors appearance record will take some doing by any modern day Rovers player!

There is a guy close to me who constantly berates Browner quite often for no reason at all. I am sure that he believes the stuff that he says and it does make you wonder at times what match he is watching.
Such people obviously visit Forums at times

Such people obviously visit Forums at times Nice to see that other people think Brown is poor rather the echo chamber on this forum You are not alone as we all see different things when we attend matches. The reality is that he has had to alter his game to fit in with D.C's tactics and his natural game wasn't to push forward as he was being asked to do. The attacking part of his game is great and he has got many assists but he doesn't have Danny Leadbitters pace to recover if he gets caught out . Last season he could rely on Monkhouse and certainly at the beginning of this season I think that he missed the Monk and his form dipped. Montano covers well for him when he plays but in my opinion Lawrence doesn't and that leaves Browner looking exposed .

Brown joined under Buckle, since then we had McGhee, Ward, and DC.
4 managers who have picked Brown for the majority of the season, have shipped out plenty of players and brought plenty in but all of them have stuck with Brown. I said it before, Brown is one of them players who doesn't get enough praise and people will only start to realise how good he is when he's gone.

The most consistent performer in the squad, end of. Only one shocker, at pompey. Could end up breaking appearance records. and they all had a shocker at Pompey bar Mildenhall. The week before the takeover, they all knew something was up and it's been bloody good since. We have a TEAM people. Lee brown looked average at best with an over the hill manager in charge of a team and club in freefall. It's not about whether one player is good enough or too good for us it's about what Darrell Clarke has built over time and the way he uses it. Any one who can't see that Lee Brown has been an integral part of our success over the last two years hasn't been watching the same Bristol Rovers as me.
