Now Within sniffing distance of 2nd place. I think we all understand ground breaking now. No one, not even me, expected us to be this close with only 4 games to go when this season started. Exciting last few games to go but fun times ahead. Happy days! Belief in this manager, this team and this club is growing with little signs of failure on the horizon. Enjoy the evening. So much to be happy about. Nice to see you back Rich, but no buses or motivational stuff please No comments about buses or motivational stuff. Not sure I will be able to cope without my ramblings. That was not enjoyable in the slightest. I enjoyed listening to all the people behind me who spent the last 4 or 5 games complaining that we were playing Lawrence instead of Montano, complaining that we were playing Montano. could be worse, the 'new' people around me spent 80 mins complaining about us hoofing it long and then at the end complained when the defense was playing it around at the back *rather* than hoofing it long... |

Not an excellent performance by any means, thought we were sloppy and looked nervous more so in the second half as we began to sit further back which i dont think were naturally good at doing as a side, if it was tactical, i dont any team should try defend 1 nil lead with 45 minutes to go. Dont know what game some Yeovil fan was watching saying the game was exceptional, there wasnt lot of quality but the result at this end of the season i suppose matters. We must however up our game a little, ball is in our hands now and dont want us to drop it.

The midfield lacked discipline and either Mansell of Lawrence needs to be brought back into the team. Mc Crystal was good today and whilst Matty scored I didnt really think he was on his game at all.
Having said that we always look as if we are capable of scoring and to see the attackers that we have on the bench makes you realise that we have strength in depth there . The result couldnt have gone better and its now up to us to secure one of the final play off places.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed all the 'new' people , me and our little group kept hearing pretty much the same thing, when ever a pass went astray by one of the lads all you heard was oh Dam hell! Wake up rovers this is sh** !!!!! |
