Just back and i'm wiped out. the tension was OTT Yep at 2-1 we were under siege for about 15 mins until taylors goal. Exeter are a decent side and i would love jayden stockley on our books, what a handful he is. I couldn't disagree more about Stockley. Just a petulant version of Matt Harrold, and less effective. Exeter were lucky to end the game with 11 on the field, in fact there were at least two clear straight red card offences.

We were in the pooh at 2-1 with them all over us. How they didn't score in that 15 minute period I don't know. Thank the Stars matty came through to knock the stuffing out of them. Same again next week please gas. Agree that Exeter had a purple patch after half time. It is the usual pattern for a reasonable team that are down at half time. However they didn't score more because they were unable to carve out any decent chances from their possession. Rovers pressed very well during that phase and Exeter had to keep going backwards and sideways as a result.

Exeter have never been a dirty side, they just played very committed yesterday which is understandable - think home fans over-react to situations, having said that the Exeter defender did push Taylor in the face so he couldn't have complained if he was sent off - I didn't like Taylor's reaction though - that of a Prem player !

It's a bit kidology by the fans to try to sway the decisions of the ref. It's always happened and it always will. Whether it works....

I thought, like you, that Tisdale's sides were all about playing the game right. However, four incidents yesterday disabused me of that notion; 1. The guy that went straight through Lockyer after the ball had gone. Ref and linesman not looking, but I have seen reds given for less. 2. The push/ punch on Matty Taylor. You criticise Taylor's reaction, but a hand raised into the face is a straight red for most referees. 3. Stockley assaulting Lockyer, reds given for far less 4. Stockley on a yellow following through to take out Mildenhall. in addition, there could well be a "failure to control players" charge after the Stockley assault in 3, although to be fair several of the Exeter players were pulling the guy away. Having said that, Exeter could feature at the top of the division next year if they play with that determination and get refs as lenient as the one yesterday.

Well what a great result that was !!!! I had to miss my first home match today at the last f**king minute due to unforseen circumstances and I can't tell you how gutted I am!!! What an utterly sh** day I'm just glad the lads got another 3 points , from what I have just been reading on the match day thread it seemed we were on top for most of the match? Who was man of the match ? did I miss a great performance ? Any info would be great !!! UTG !!!!!! Mom was Leadbitter great all round performance , EXeter are a tidy side, overran us thro the middle a bit, 15mins from restart second half we were a bit swamped three very classy goals from rovers today bodin was excellent and I rue the fact he didn't start at Stevenage, likewise Leadbitter. Bad decisions that I hope don't haunt us for twelve months Monty was ok, subbed off after an hour To be honest they were throwing so many men forward as long as they could keep the ball in our half they were always going to cause us problems. All it needed was one good ball from us and we would be in. Thankfully Matty did the rest.

I don't personally over-react, but lots do and isn't just us. I always cringe when fans start shouting "off, off" at the slightest thing, as historically Rover's haven't always played well against 10 men.

I should get a red card for wanton use of an apostrophe. Arrggh. Love your profile pic. I put it up on OTIB when the pious Teds were saying how much better behaved their fans are than ours. This was one of their finest at Reading this year, after the Reading fans had asked him if he'd ever seen his dick.: That's what happens when your club anthem is an ode to getting watered; you get fat, fast.
