Yes, another thread about the next 2 games. Not that surprising though really is it. I need someone to keep me sane, as I am having major doubts that either Oxford or Accy will drop any points. SO.... Your predictions please! York vs ROVERS Cambridge vs PLYMOUTH Wycombe vs ACCRINGTON Carlisle vs OXFORD ACCRINGTON vs Stevenage ROVERS vs Dagenham PLYMOUTH vs Hartlepool OXFORD vs Wycombe I'll start. York vs ROVERS - Rovers win Cambridge vs PLYMOUTH - Draw Wycombe vs ACCRINGTON - Accrington win Carlisle vs OXFORD - Oxford win ACCRINGTON vs Stevenage - Accrington win ROVERS vs Dagenham - Rovers win PLYMOUTH vs Hartlepool - Plymouth win OXFORD vs Wycombe - Draw That's the best I can do, and in all honesty not even sure Oxford will draw that final game. So yeah, someone make me feel more optimstic

My concern is us getting a win though as our own away form of late is a little suspect..

ACCRINGTON vs Stevenage - Accrington win ROVERS vs Dagenham - Rovers win PLYMOUTH vs Hartlepool - Plymouth win OXFORD vs Wycombe - Oxford win
1. Northampton - 86 2. Oxford - 86 3. Rovers - 85 4. Accy - 85 5. Plymouth - 83 6. Pompey - 79 7. Wimbledon - 78
I'm of the same opinion, can't really see Accy or Oxford dropping points, but praying for those cheating bumholes Wycombe to do us a favour or 2!

First things first is we have to win our games. As Argyle and Portsmouth have shown recently we can't assume 6 points against York and D&R

My prediction? I'll probably pee myself at some point during the game next Saturday. If all goes well, then the last day I'll probably pee, sh1t, puke, laugh and cry......all before half-time.
No matter what, I'll have a sore arse as my Rusty Sheriff's Badge cannot stop puckering !

We are Gasheads. The phrase A SANE GASHEAD has to be an oxymoron, doesn't it. There is no Sanity Clause in any Gashead contract I have seen and, in any event, the Sanity Clauses only apply to the Christmas period of games.
If you want Optimism, then that is a different thing. I believe that two things must happen for the automatics:
1) We must win both of our games - Can we do that??? - YES WE CAN!!! 2) Either Accrington Stanley or Oxford must fail to win at least one of their four combined games - Is that likely to happen??? - YES!!
Not sure whether any of that helps - but it is at least optimistic.

I really felt, that was our one big chance to get back to the Football League. Spent many sleepless nights. Now our finances are on a more secure footing ( hopefully ), even if we don`t make it up again this season, I`m confident of what next season will bring. Also, I predict that I will be a lot quieter than usual on Saturday, as I don`t have a ticket for the Gas end, so will have to find a quiet spot in the home end.

There was a question on a Brain of Britain (Radio 4, about 20 minutes in if anyone wants to listen). The first answer was Oxford, the correct answer us.
Just desperate for good omens!

If you just want a good omen then the last time MU & CP met in the FA Cup final was 1990 one of our other previous promotion seasons.
Back to the OP I can't honestly see Wycombe losing at home to Accy then drawing at Oxford so surely it's get to be the other way around? Also Oxford winning at Carlisle with ex Rovers player Curle in charge won't be easy? I also can't see all 6 games being won by the promotion contenders so if we win at York then surely we should go up, although whether we can win there is another matter but at least that's in our own hands!

I'm gonna be putting £20 on an Accrington/Oxford double this weekend.
If they both win, i'll put the winnings on an Accrington/Oxford double the weekend after too.
If I win, it'll pay for a potential Wembley trip, if I lose, I pray we win our games and go up!
UTG!

If wycombe lose their last two games they will have lost 3 on the trot, something they haven't done all season.
