Hope we go 4-4-2 from the start. No point playing counter attacking 5-3-2 and allowing York to have so much possession.

York are going to try and win. They don't need a point so won't shut up shop unless they score first. This will suit us as we do struggle to break down defensive or negative play. A pacy team tomorrow and I think will do them.

Carlisle have lost to the likes of Mansfield and Luton at home since beating us so can't see Oxford slipping up there with how good they are away. I think Wycombe could get a point against Accy though.
Gonna go for us to win 2-0 at York although our recent away form and heir recent home form is a worry for me.

I doubt they'll want to lose 3 on the bounce going into the summer? Plus Curle is a Bristolian who's family I assume are all still in the area so that might had an extra edge to the game, plus the great unknown how will Oxford cope with the pressure. We could equally be 2nd tomorrow night as we could 4th, it's that tight in my view.

Using that logic we may as well send out a reserve side tomorrow and start preparing for the Play Offs, as our only hope is one team steps up to the plate and does a "Mansfield".

Mate what are you going on about? I'm just giving my opinion. What's logic got to do with it?

Yeovil and Exeter both were in good form but that didn't seem to bother us. At the end of the day they're relegated. A few draws at home of late shouldn't concern us. I just hope we're at it from the off as the one thing that does concern me was the Stevenage game. We seem to be far better at chasing the pack though so hopefully we do the same again.

I seem to remember back in 74 promotion season we got derailed at York by the referee. I think we were odds on to win the old div 3 title but the York result basically gave us second position. I was at college at the time and my mate and his dad went to the match. They said we wiz robbed, and I think it was the ref. could anyone confirm this ? Let's hope it's not an omen.....UTG.

Mainly against teams with little to play for. Their only win in the last 10 was against Pompey.

It's the draw which worries me as I can't see them beating us but they have only lost 2 out of their last 10 at home.

Hope we go 4-4-2 from the start. No point playing counter attacking 5-3-2 and allowing York to have so much possession. Have to start with 4-4-2 otherwise you might as well write off the first hour until we change it whilst it's still 0-0. My biggest fear is another Dover scenario. Even if we all win tomorrow you can't be too disappointed with that. Just need to concentrate on ourselves and do our bit.
