This'll be our 3rd season where its down to the last game, and both previous times we've ended up in a different division! Up the f'ing GAS. Yep this is true the other way of looking at it is we failed to avoid relegation and we failed to go up automatically? just hope this time it's success

BBC says Matty T went off injured - anyone able to confirm if this is accurate? Slightly worrying going into play-offs if true.

I agree it doesn't look good... But remember this... Imagine how nervous Poxford and Accy will be come next Saturday...

What ever happens were still in playoffs and we would face Wimbledon which I'm confident we would get through. Would be another nice day out at Wembley

Bizarre atmosphere when leaving. You wouldn't belive we'd just won 4-1. Didn't help that some belter said that Wycombe had scored.

Minimum 4th place finish secured with a game to go... I can think of worse situations

The lowest we are gonna finish this season is 4th. Get in. We would have all accepted that in August.
Would fancy our chances against Wimbledon and with last years Wembley experience where we choked and got away with. I really fancy our chances if it comes to play offs.
However, I would accept from the footballing gods if we were to play our last game next week until pre season (even though I don't have a ticket!).

Or DC is a legend for giving us a team to be proud of winning promotion and maybe winning back to back promotions ? Get a f**king grip. Legends can still b@lls up, unless we have a miracle next week then the Stevenage game will have cost us promotion. No, two points dropped over the course of a remarkable season.

I dunno how everyone is so positive. I feel gutted right now. Really feel Wycombe next week at Oxford is our slight hope left. People can say we have had a good season whatever which yes we have but that can't mask up how disappointed I feel right now.

In the last two months we've Won 10, Drawn 2 (one of which was Northampton away from 0-2 down), Lost 1. Scored 33, conceded 11.
We'll go up unless Accrington win and Oxford win next saturday, and, even if they do then you've got to fancy us against Wimbledon, 2nd leg at the Mem, and then it's back off to the New Wembley, where we have a pretty good record!
UTG!!!

Far too many positives for me to be down beat , personally think that we will still go up automatically , if not we have another chance in the playoffs , if that fails we now have new owners who may give DC a sensible budget to work with. I'm not a rose tinter but I cannot get watered off with anything at the club at present as everything looks to be heading in the right direction but it won't change overnight. Of course DC will make mistakes but personally I think he has made the right call on more occasions than he hasn't. I think we have been treated to some really good football this season and the lads have far exceeded my expectations. People will have different expectations to me so I respect other people's views too ! UTG !!!!!!

OK - so 2 years back we were safe from relegation having beaten Wycombe the game before last - we couldn't fail to stay up could we!
So why is there NO CHANCE that either Oxford or Accrington will fail to win next Saturday whilst Rovers win against D & R i.e. the opposite of what happened to us?
I think the game next Saturday could end up being more enjoyable because we're doing the chasing, not the ones being chased. IF we score early and one or both the others don't the pressure will build on them. Either way, it's been our best ever 4th tier season and I'd be reasonably confident about the playoffs if it comes to that.
