We got 7,000 and Alfreton and Welling both got less than 700. How the hell do they financially survive on gates that low? If all 700 paid £18 that's only £12,600 revenue per game and £289,800 for the whole season - And we think we're if financial trouble?? It doesn't make sense at all does it, unless of course alfreton and welling pay players £100 per week, which surely they don't.... I was dumbstruck at how league 2 clubs operated but this has taken it to a whole new level of baffling....

Very true,we have taken more revenue from season ticket sales than they will get all season,it is unreal how they survive let alone compete

We haven't made a profit because we've given out 3 year deals to players on 3-4k a week who have been over the hill and/or injury prone while we were in league 2. The agents really saw Higgs coming. If they had been successful players and the team had been successful then we would have won promotion and not been relegated. We would then have made more money through gate receipts and merchandise etc and would then have perhaps not made a profit but we wouldn't have made such a loss.

And for all those waiting to see what this failings report is going to show well we'll see whether the board have realized their mistakes and are putting it right won't we. It would seem so far that they are putting it right, but we'll see.

I would love to know the total amount we have paid to our long list of ex-managers from the day after each was sacked, from say Trollope, Penney, Buckle and Ward. And if any of them are still on our payroll. And for how long. And since none of them seem to have breathed a word about the circumstances around their sacking, how much these silences have cost us.

I've a sneaking feeling that if that were ever made public people would explode.

Where is all this money going?

The break even figure this season is not 9000, it was 9000 last season. This season is about 6000. At least that is how I heard it at the Q&A

Morecambe survive on tiny crowds and won 3 0 away Sat.Don't know how they do it? By scoring three times without conceeding. As a fellow Rovers fan I can quite see how you would not know this.
