Is that actually a Rovers scarf? Who cares? Not the Bristol Sport Post that's for sure. It it a Rovers scarf? If it is, is it definitely Bristol Rovers? If it is, is there any suggestions that he actually went to a game? Why, if it's so dangerous are they only just reporting it now given Rovers haven't played for a month? If it's only just happened what game are they ready for? If it's a Euro game how are young children able to travel over there unaccompanied? I'm sure all these questions were asked by the editors before publishing that sh**e weren't they......? f**k you BP. Yeah, afaict the scarf one is Rovers, but the others aren't. (The big knife one is Hull. The Nandos casuals are Burnley.)

More Anti Rovers propaganda from Bristol (Sport) Post. They are a bunch of f**king wankers on that rag. Yeah, they word it carefully to make it look like the other pics might be Gas as well, which afaict, they're not. Exactly. Have we played Millwall lately?? Tosh reporting tedious linking of pictures to the club

Unless somebody knows the lads id how do they know he's Bristol rather than Blackburn Rovers fan? Although is a 14 yr old posting stupid picture on Instagram really worthy of a press article?

You can google it pretty easily and see where it came from and the sort of things they tag it with, etc, to give you a decent clue. Obviously if someone is trying to be deliberately deceitful, you can't really tell, but the bloke who put that up on the net, put a bunch of Gas tags on it.

I wonder if after all the media attention on hooliganism at the Euros that there will be an resurgence of trouble at domestic matches next season, copy cat behaviour.
As for the kids in this article being so young I think that would probably make them more likely to use a knife as they will not fully realise the consequences, anyway getting your face slashed with a Stanley knife would be just as painful whether its done by a 14 year old or a 20 year old.
I hope that the authorities crack down hard on anyone carrying knives, and clubs should say that anyone convicted of carrying a knife will get a life ban...might make some of them think.

Where are the days gone where if you had a falling out with someone you would simply have a quick punch up somewhere , shake hands and then have a pint! Nowadays you only have to look at someone for them to take offence and you end up getting knifed ! It's a horrible world.

To be fair the club shouldn't even have to say that. It's bloody obvious!

I'm not completely convinced it's a Bristol rovers fan ,can anyone confirm the scarf is of a design sold by the club ? The comments on the Instagram page all refer to Bristol Rovers, so I assume it's correct. I see that the Daily Mail are running the story now, so I wonder if mummy and daddy will find out what an idiot their little boy is. A "hooligan" posing in a club scarf is surely an oxymoron?

Certainly ..... Should a person showing an allegiance to an institution that is followed religiously and fanatically that displays themselves in face covered pictures holding weapons threatening violence to those of a different following be classed as fanatical terrorism ? Will the people now be on the police/mi5 terrorist list now ?

Yeah, he's so hardcore, he doesn't even realise he's not supposed to be wearing his colours.

If the new football casual wears a scarf, eats in Nando's and drinks Carling, then ban the lot of them!
Make mine a chicken salad, extra rocket with French dressing.................with a light beer before wrapping up warm in case little Johnny catches a cold!!! Oh, and put that butter knife back in the cutlery draw!

When I lived in London the Met, along with the Government said "anyone caught with a knife would be charged" then it went to "3 strikes and you're out" and then and I can personally confirm this, the Met only released details of fatal stabbings. I knew 2 lads that were stabbed, both serious enough to put them in hospital for a few weeks, but neither of those incidents were reported in the local rag or the Metro or any National Papers. I suspect the Government told them to keep it quiet as they were cutting police budgets. In my opinion carrying and offensive weapon should mean a custodial sentence, or at the very least a long time of reporting to the local police twice a day (and searched, yes some of these kids are that thick). I have had personal experience of this as when I was Head of Year 10 in Edgware one of mine (Kyan Prince) was stabbed at the front gate, he died in the Ambulance.

I suspect it's more to do with the Police setting up speed traps for motorists rather than wanting to arrest the odd knife carrier.

OUT OF OFFICE
James Macnamara is on holiday so some stupid journobot is filling the pages with automated drivel for a few weeks. Normal drivel will return shortly.
