hmmmm, I have to say it's a bit out of my price range this, and I don't even need the missus to tell me.... success brings popularity, so hardly surprising that an increase would happen, and I guess this is the first time the FFSC has supported during league 1.... hope it goes well though lads, i'm sure you'll sell it as it's well proper fun.... maybe i'll try looking into venue hire like I attempted in an end of season last minute muddle previously, and we can do a pre / post match meet-up.... anyway.... martin, i'll meet you on the common before the oxford game, you bring the white lightening and i'll bring the doritos dirty apples? Nah, bring the good stuff sorry but don;t totally agree on the Lge 1 business. I've seen Gas in 4 different divisions and admission prices haven't changed much as regards what divisions we were in at the time. A lot of people were there in the bad old days (or even bad recent days, like Chesham United) and supported Rovers through thin and thinner. i agree totally about the ticket prices, but there was always going to be a new direction of marketing / hospitality due soon after the take over, as jts mentioned the dribuild hospitality been refurbished, it's gonna be a different breed of approach to sponsors and partners from now on....
i'm obviously gutted that it's pricey, but parrot did warn that there would be zero discounts this year....

I think we have to give credit to the previous board. They gave us a very good deal for all previous events. I don't think the price has actually gone up that much.

The Oxford game is one of the "top 6" games where they are charging an extra £10 for hospitality. I presume these will the Category A games for everybody else.
We have been crying out for owners who know how to run a business, so can't really complain!

just a quick thought on this lads.... wouldn't it be a good idea to get the hospitality prize winners drawn sooner rather than later.... I can only speak for my own perspective here, and i'm sure there are many in the ffsc who would agree, but a hospitality prize winner would likely pay for a guest?

The Hospitality prize places will be drawn from 2016-17 members so will not be drawn until at least a fortnight after we begin this seasons FFS Club. We will decide our AGM date as soon as the Euro football is over and start from then. UTG

Also, as this is the first game of the season and was paid for with money for the coffers so maybe should be drawn from this seasons members rather than next?

We understand your concerns and we will discuss/decide at our AGM.

It got a bit expensive didn't it?! Hope you all have a great time. I'm going to save up for the first home game in the 2nd tier. Wrt the price increase....are the bar prices the same? Has the menu been upgraded? Is there any change to the experience other than our league status? Genuine asks.

The previous board gave us a good deal so I dont think the price is vastly different from what we should have been paying all along.

I will be missing the game due to being on holiday with my family, I know poor drills for organising a holiday during the season.
Does seem a tad over budget for many though.
Look forwards to the hastily arranged AGM for a chinwag & glass of something foaming.

poster forestgas7 has just pointed out that because our efl cup game is live on a Thursday on sky, so oxford fixture may be moved to sunday? no official confirmation yet but it sounds about reasonable?

Ok guys and gals.
Interest in this is low, due to price and people on holiday etc.
So, should i cancel this and go for a game later in the season ??
Let me know your thoughts everyone as to be fair to the club i need to give them the oppurtunity to re sell the package to ano

If not I'd suggest numbers may not significantly improve.
