Because there is no evidence of money going towards the future of the club already... Apart from the Wonga loan which was repaid(something that had to be done) and the loan signing of McBurnie, I haven't seen much more evidence. Oh yeah the supporters club shop got a lick of paint... Yet it's still more than the last lot did to the ground. In fact, apart from a couple of tvs did Higgs and co spend a single penny on the Mem?

3 votes for no? So we aren't going to make a single more signing and we are scrapping UWE?

Because there is no evidence of money going towards the future of the club already... Um, new hand dryers in West Stand bogs, and a new dish washer in West Stand kitchen. :-)

Unpicking the question...................
'expect' or 'want' ?
His money or money belonging to well-heeled business contacts.
Answer:
I want Wael to invest his money in the team.

Majority of squad on improved contracts, retaining in particular Tom Lockyer, Lee Brown & Danny Leads with other clubs after them. Signing establish L1 midfielder and one of the best CHs in L2.....so that's no investment in the team?

The ground and training ground are very important but we can't let the playing side of things slip at all.
At the moment we don't seem to be moving too fast in the transfer market, which concerns me a little given even dc said we massively over achieved last season. Would like to think we strengthened considerably. Not expecting million pound signings but invest in some quality.

I believe he will spend more than Higgs would have done.
I expect that money to be spent more wisely than the previous board would have. done.
I think DC will have an improved budget but no where near what we'd like.
I'm happy to see some money being spent to make small improvements to the Mem.
I neither want nor expect tent pole cash splashing to happen. That's a sure way to failure.
However, some movement one way or another on a new home is really needed to convince me that we are ever going to progress. Failure to get that moving will just mean we will have jumped out of the frying pan into another frying pan.

Well all the new people at the club are not here for free so money is being spent there. Small improvements here and there have happened on a regular basis and all cost money. Increasing the contracts of the squad and manager all cost money.
The talk was always of trying to bring many of our own players through so I expect more money to go into this area quite quickly as its a long term thing so today's investment won't pay back for five or more years on the youngsters. The quality of the coaching and facilities will give a hint at what the future holds.

If you watch BOTH video's he clearly said there will be NO marquee signing's they only have improved contracts because we got promoted, i bet most of those would have been released if we did not go up

I guess do we want a club run in a similar way to it was by NH, where it was losing £1m+ a season on the back of budgeting on average gates of 9,500, when they knew the average was likely to be around 6,500, or run as a business which more or less breaks even and would remain a viable business even if Wael ever decided to sell up?

I got the distinct impression from DC's latest Video that Money will be spent on the Club not on the team Good. We tried that a few years back and it backfired. True, but on the flipside many have thrown money at it and its worked. Bournemouth are not where they are through luck and team spirit. I guess it depends on who is throwing the money as to whether it works or not, id trust DC to get the right players in but with our ground restricting us whats the point going any further up the leagues?

I guess we should see where we are after a yearly audit, we might be losing more ( I doubt it ), I have no idea.
