I can't make it myself, hopefully Stevek will be there and can provider a report? Bliss' looked our best striker during last years pre season then was bombed out, just shows you have to take them with a pinch of salt!! Bliss scored a couple of preseason goals against naff opponents. He was never any good though. Thought you were chatting to yourself then mate! |

Not a fan of pre season games, think we'll just about win but these games are more about fitness than anything else. Crikey I remember the uproar when we lost to Cheltenham in pre-season last year. "We can't even beat Cheltenham, back down we go!" Exactly! I remember under Buckle when we beat a Burnley team that had just came down from the Prem and we all thought we were going to win the league! |

Looks like a fairly strong squad, rather than just an XI of youngsters. Can't make this one but planning on going to Twerton on Tuesday! Interesting balance of youth and experience for both the Mangotsfield and Salisbury games. No Peter Hartley in either squad? |
