Definitely no need for all the panicking. Remember when we lost to tinpot teams like Braintree and still got promoted. I'll worry if we're struggling after 10 games, not right now. Trouble is when we were losing to the 'tinpot' teams it was with virtually the same team we have now, and we ain't playing 'tinpot' teams no more. |

What difference does it make if you were at the game or not? Yes we all know you were at the game, you told us enough times. People have been saying for weeks we need new signings, and today proved that. If you're not concerned after a 3-1 defeat then so be it. I wasn't at the game, but I know we need at least 3 new signings. As you weren't at the match how can you possibly say we need at least 3 new signings? Going by what I saw preseason, and what I heard on the radio, and by what I've been told by people who did go today. |

I wasn't at the game, but I know we need at least 3 new signings. Just thought I'd keep people updated. Clearly I've touched a nerve with you. We've been done by two absolute screamers from a team that were there or thereabouts last season. The reason I said I was interested if people were there was because it was said we needed a new GK and CB. I'd love to see a keeper that could have kept any of their goals out. Still, nice rant though. No nerve touched, or rant by myself. Just posting on a forum. |

I was shot down couple weeks for suggesting we might need a cm after watching 2 years and this seasons friendlies but today showed that we did, Lines is our only player capable of playing every week right now, without him we would be in serious trouble. Other than a cm we need a goalkeeper and another striker. Im going to say proven striker and this again is a case where along with a cm we might have to spend some money to strengthen.

Pre season isn't really a good gauge though in terms of what areas we need to strengthen in. No team ever plays one at the same level as them, unless it's a Prem teams in China or something. Under Buckle we looked incredible in pre season yet were woeful as soon as it kicked off. |

I though Clarke would get sent off after such high and early booking and I'm not convinced he's up to L1 standard. Also not sure about Sinclair. He wins tackles but you need more than that at this level. |

I was at the game. And I'm still shell shocked. As I feared we were naive at the end, but for the first hour or so we were fine. Two things, we can't be that naive again in midfield or defence, and our strikers and lines need to get shots away before there's a man standing 1 foot away. We have done extremely well to get this far with our squad, but at this level we will have to step up a gear. We can do it. And the gasheads today were superb. UTG.

Assuming they can get themselves fit we still have Mansell & Lawrence to come into midfield, LL looked useful against Villa also in Sabadell, I'd like to see them play before saying we needed to sign a CM. Disappointing result given the build up and that we matched Scunthorpe in the first half. We will need to defend better at set plays and when being counter attacked. We also need to make better decisions to create more opportunities at the other end in the next games. It's only the first game away to a decent side in this division so dust ourselves down and onto the next game now. A sensible post? |
