Mildenhall 5 for me everything is in slow mo. Needs fierce competition for the jersey. With better reactions could he have saved any of the 2 shots on target?
Leadbitter 4 Lacked quality with final delivery seems to lack confidence in beating his man. J.Clarke 5 Got punished for shirt pulling with their goal otherwise steady. Lockyer 6 had his hands full for 90 mins. Probably his hardest ever game professionally. Hartley 6 steady but very busy and stretched at times. Brown 4 Browner isn't a wing back.
O. Clarke 5 steady but lacked quality. Lines 7 tried his best to create but needed help only arrived with Easter sub. Sinclair 4 to many backward passes, not enough quality 100% effort.
Taylor 6 no service for large periods tidy on the ball. Harrison 7 good game from Ellis against 2 man mountains.
Subs: Bodin 6 Easter 8 MOTM got us on the front foot. Quality. Montana 6
Crowd 6 a little subdued Ref 3 wanted to be centre of attention. Bolton 8 decent side looked strong. If DC was braver then we could have done them over.

Can someone please explain why they are giving Ollie Clarke a higher mark than Sinclair? Just curious.
Ollie Clarke did nothing in 45 minutes.
What are people expecting of Sinclair? Goals? Defence splitting passes? Get real.

Defence splitting passes? Get real. I felt that Sinclair didn't help Lines' game in the same way that Ollie Clarke does. Sinclair crowded him out a couple of times. Also, he took too long to spread the play taking extra touches rather than first time passes. There was one particular occasion that Bodin was free on the right. Sinclair took a couple of touches to get it out of his feet before making the pass. The pass was accurate but Bodin no longer had the same space in front of him. Lines (or even Easter) needs to be the one making those passes with someone (Mansell, Clarke?) sat behind him.

Results in and Jermaine Easter is Man of the Match with a score of 7.21.
This is the fifth time in the three seasons of this thread that a substitute has won MotM. The other occasions were Blissett (Welling H), Harrison (Halifax A), Lockyer (Crawley A) and Easter again (Carlisle A).
This was Sinclair's fourth lowest league rating. The only worse rated games he's had were Barnet (4.3) and Altrincham (4.7) away at the start of 14/15 and Portsmouth (4.1) away last season. He also scored 4.6 against Chesham but that was a bad game for everyone.
The starting XI average was 5.99. Only twice have the team scored a better rating in a defeat (although luckily there haven't been too many of them). Those games were Oxford home (6.57) and Carlisle away (6.43) last season.
Mildenhall 6.2
Leadbitter 5.7 J. Clarke 6.4 Lockyer 6.1 Hartley 5.9 Brown 5.6
O. Clarke 5.3 Lines 6.9 Sinclair 4.9
Taylor 6.0 Harrison 6.8
Subs: Bodin 6.3 Easter 7.2 Montano 5.4
Crowd 6.9 Ref 4.8 Bolton 7.6

In my opinion it would have been at lot worse if we started 4-4-2 with Lines and Clarke in the middle (not saying you suggested that). The Bolton midfield were well organised and exceptional in closing down. Any midfield combination would have struggled. I just don't see how someone who was on the pitch for 45 minutes and did nothing can get a higher mark than someone who did his job (not saying he had a good game) for 90 minutes. Just think Sinclair is a lot of people's pet hate at the moment.
