Bit of a fatalistic sign off from Nick Day today - has he been given the bump?

A poor performance in a weird formation that doesn't suit the players and they clearly aren't happy with it either. We've just won successive promotions playing 4-4-2 at home he's changed it and we now look like relegation candidates. I don't blame the players they all looked up for it its just that they looked as confused as we did most of the time. Sort it out DC you had a winning formula we beat Oxford first game why change it ??!!!

I thought that was quite positive, really, even though the game was a bit sh**e, it certainly looks like Boateng is gonna be an excellent signing, and McCauley Culkin looked pretty neat and clever, even though he's only 12.

Home Alone boy bit of a magician. Passed the ball and then found space yards away - got to play him and feed him the ball.

First 15 minutes were great, different game once we conceded, had no confidence and didn't know what to do with the ball - was like a hot knife through butter down the left hand side. Brown to far forward leaving us too exposed.
Boateng was great, can see why he's highly rated. Colkett looks to have good vision and can certainly pick a pass.
Unfortunately James Clarke was the worst player on the pitch by a mile today. Go back to an ordinary 442 with leadbitter starting for Tuesday night.

Yeah only one win this season in the only game where we've played 4-4-2. Back to basics please DC I don't mind changing the team around to keep people fresh it's worked in these last two years but after 12 home wins in a row playing 4-4-2 he's changed it last two games and we've got 1 point from those two. I'm disappointed to ge honest I thinkif it's not broken then you don't have to fix it. I'd start with lines and boeteng in the middle Bodin and Montano out wide with Taylor and Gafney up front v Walsall. Basically what we did last season but with Boeteng there we will be even stronger. If we don't switch back to what works we're going to quickly find ourselves in trouble.

Only another 4 or 5 games and we start getting serious, same most years, no idea why but we are poop at the start of the season, I think we like the chase.

I think we've started badly these last three seasons because DC has dicked about with different formations and as soon as we settle in to 4-4-2 we start to pick up. Hopefully that will start Tuesday because if we play like that against Wallsall we'll get beat..

Bit of a fatalistic sign off from Nick Day today - has he been given the bump? what did he say? At half time he said "That's 48 minutes of my life I'll never get back. If it was a horse they'd have shot it". Then at full time he said "This is me Nick Day saying Good Bye".

Awful first half again,Browner was lost and looked confused, lumping it forward to two small forwards. Thought tactically outdone first half with that formation, the space their players were finding even in our box. Hartley facing up their winger when he should be attacking the cross in the box. 442 to start games at home for me please. Keith Hill does get his teams to play good football and we seemed to let them first half.

Thought the ref and linesmen were the worst we've seen since the Conference...they certainly didn't help us building any kind of momentum. The reason I was annoyed about their second goal wasn't because it could have been offside, it was because of the massive shove in the back of one of our players in front of the West Stand in the build-up. Ref and the linesman on our side (East terrace) both should have seen it and given it....

I'm not Abigail fan of his style but he's done nothing wrong in the grand scheme
