Yeah Matty Taylor well and truly pulled us out of the sh** today with those two goals. Thing is if you need to score two just to scrape a point then what your doing clearly isn't working. I think the players are good enough for league 1 we've got a big and good squad but we need to play to our strengths and we're not doing that yet bar Oxford at home. Not sure that some of our players are good enough for League 1. From what I`ve seen so far, James Clarke and Billy Bodin look well off the pace at this level. It wasn`t just the goals yesterday; Rochdale, the bottom club in the division, looked much more comfortable on the ball and found far more space for themselves, than we did. We were very lucky that we were only one goal adrift at half time. I felt quite relieved that we`d managed to get a point, come the final whistle. I agree they didn't look good enough yesterday but against Oxford they did and I think Oxford are better. Sometimes in a formation that suits the players the overal team can look better than the sum of their parts, or something !!

Youtube highlights show the 'shove' on Taylor. Definitely a bit of a shove but understandably not given as Taylor threw himself to the ground.

Looked a couple of inches offside for their second goal from that clip.

Looked a couple of inches offside for their second goal from that clip. Think Locks on the far side was playing him onside, whilst McChrystal is apparently pass it I can't imagine he'd have played as poorly as Hartley yesterday, the best bit of the highlights is move just after Rochdale got their 2nd where their right winger is in so much space you there isn't a Rovers defender within 20m/30m of him!

Shocking defending for both our goals conceded. Yeah Matty Taylor well and truly pulled us out of the sh** today with those two goals. I think the players are good enough for league 1 we've got a big and good squad but we need to play to our strengths and we're not doing that yet bar Oxford at home. That's also the only league game we've won at home. Interesting! Thing is, your points would still heve been valid had we won 3-2 yesterday but you may not have brought them up..

However, on the other hand, McChrystal wouldn't have assisted both of Taylor's goals. Hartley was also left exposed by Brown's (seemingly instructed by DC) position far up the pitch.

Perhaps McChrystal might have had a stronger word with DC about is barmy tactics!
