Lee mansell claimed after the game that the players thought it would be a walk over against part time Altrincham. This just confirms the big Club delusions of grandeur that has infected our Players. Dave Martin referred to BRFC as a big Club in his first interview on Gasplayer. No Dave, we are not, please get that crazy notion out of your head. An empty stadium for the Telford home game might bring these foolish excuses for footballers down to earth. Five seasons in a row with starts like this, different Managers for each, new Players galore and yet the outcome is the same as BRFC continue their death dance. Higgs and co you have all failed and will continue to fail until an independent review is carried out into the causes of your failings. In the meantime Higgs should step down as Chairman.

We thought it would be a walkover so we decided we wouldn't bother putting 3 passes together, or defending properly, or showing any attacking quality whatsoever. Shower of sh ite.

Basically he's saying they didn't prepare properly for this game. They've done the exact opposite to what everyone from Luton said we should. I thought DC even spoke with John Still?

where is the lee mansell interview published? It was put up and later removed from the OS If that is the case KP, those in charge of our club have clearly lost the plot and censorship of this kind is totally unacceptable. Only a complete clear out from top to bottom and that includes the Manager and his overated prima donnas will put us back where we belong. A mad dog is clearly needed as DC appears to be another nice guy clone of JW.

The Mansell and Clarke interviews are both on Gas Player but I am not able to listen to them. To be fair to the club the same thing happened last weekend so I will wait until tomorrow before accusing the club of censorship for want of a better word.

If it was removed this surely another example of the rot and chaos that persists in the club! You could not make half this sh**e up and its insulting to us fans. The frustration and intolerance from the fans is not just about the crap football, its also about this culture of mis-information, secrecy and covering up. Don't you realise how alienated a lot of the loyal fan base feel now?? Get a grip and change your culture and attitude before it's too late. I'm sick of it all.

The Mansell interview in question was towards the end of Radio Bristol after match programme hosted by Geoff Twentyman. The wording was not exact but Mansell was very clear in the meaning.

it was obvious from the start of the game that some of the players mindset wasnt right, tom parkes most culpable taking massive risks in possession as if he was franz beckenbauer,,in fairness some players already look very short of confidence mccchrystal, leadbitter, ollie clarke for example

So which current board member do you think would make the best Chairman?

Did anyone hear Clarke give his Interview before the game. I quote " because of the traffic problems we had to bypass the pre match lunch". Now surely this is down to water poor management again. Anyone who goes on a longish journey checks for Possible long delays seek an alternative route to get you to destination as quick as possible. Find somewhere to have a bit of lunch. .....1 question I love to have answered. If Nick Higgs is away. where are the rest of the board. DUNFORD WARE ETC ETC.

Perhaps an outsider with the right credentials could join the board as Chairman. The right person need not have to acquire a huge number of shares. Is this allowed in the structure of BRFC ? What is clear to me is that we need to go in a new direction and if we do not try, we will die.

Next thing posters will be asking why DC wasn't driving the bus! This is now back to MM not preparing for Wimbledon a couple of seasons ago, l'm not really sure you can blame NH or DC if the players don't appreciate the task they've got ahead of them. Surely Mansell, who has played at this level before, should understand even if the likes of Parkes don't, anyway wasn't Tuesday a wake up call in itself. It seems the players need to be sat down and explained to them this isn't going to be a walk in the park and if they don't wake up soon there won't be a club to play for nor pay their wages.

On hols or just not interested in the club anymore? It seems odd it's only this season they are all on hols.
