I think we will see a couple of surprise selections in tonight's team. The lack of pace on the left side of our defence sticks out like a sore thumb and will continue to be targeted if We play 3 centre backs or a flat back four.Roberts and Clarke-Salter (if fit) maybe,if they can play on the left side.

Is JCS at the club now?
He was still with Chelsea last week recovering from his injury.

I find a lot of quotes on here as laughable........football has moved on, the days of simple 4 4 2, with a big centre half and big centre forward week in week out are long gone, except in the minds of some here. If I recall, the season we went down, we played 4 4 2 at home in most if not all games....and look where that got us. Given that DC has two promotion in two seasons, I do not understand why some cannot simply afford him the respect to know what he is doing, and how he is doing it........particularly given that we have only played a handful of league games this year. I think that most of the fans at the match on Saturday, would be rather dubious that Clarke knew what he was doing. The defence ( particularly the left side ) looked an almighty mess from begining to end, but Clarke did nothing to change it. We were fortunate to get a point, at home to the bottom team in the division. 4 4 2 may have gone out, along with dial up and Betamax video recorders, but with the defenders we currently have at the club, a flat back 4 seems essential to me.

Too be honest, I would not be disappointed if Gaffney never started for BRFC again.
Just my opinion, which I am entitled too. i.imgflip.com/2/3g5k6.jpg
