Having failed to beat Rochdale & Walsall in our last two home wins I can't see how beating PV was "routine", given we are still finding our feet in Div 1. Losing Sincs for the Sheffield Utd game is a blow, unless it's already been marked down as a routine win for the Blades? If so, there's no need to worry about team selection. It was routine in the fact that we controlled the game and won comfortably. |

Really enjoyed that today, love the fight and work rate from this team, dont think he should have taken easter off as he was causing all sorts of problems and i felt the pressure on them lifted abit with the young lad trying hard but abit lightweight, a point at utd will do me fine. utg

I dont agree with running it into corner - eventually they lose the ball and the opposition punt the ball forwards.. towards the end of the game today we had a couple of 3 v 2 or 4 v 3 situations where if the players lift their heads up and move the ball on it will lead to a shot at goal - and a chance of game , set and match ! Yep extremely frustrating. Darrell didn't seem to happy with it either It finished the game so I'm happy with it. |

Two random observations................
Before the match we had 16 players warming up and 8 backroom staff also on the pitch;
and that's not including DC.
Box 1 has puzzled me in recent matches. When we score there's no celebration up there,
but in the last few matches there's been clapping when the opposition score. Has
Box 1 been handed over to directors from the opposition?....yet another break with
the past!

Ellis! That's the useless, lazy, greedy one with no tactical awareness who would rather be watching the sh** down at the Gate? Nice one, my son! Proving the haterz wrong since 2011  Seriously though, for all his perceived faults, he does keep coming up with vital contributions. That header into Easter's path on Tuesday, the goal today. Very pleased for him and hope he goes on to nab the winner. Who was it who said no striker other than Taylor would get 10 this season? That's 3 now for Ellis. He could well be the man...... GasheadGaz. He said if any Rovers player other than Taylor scores 10 goals or more then he will buy them all a drink at a game and hand out £1k bundles to every fan. Top bloke. |

If he had said something before the game then fair enough but to say aomething after was low and he has rightfully ended up with egg on his face. We are now in a better position at this stage in league one than we were last season in league two. Nothing to be afraid of from what we've seen so far. Tuesday will be a big test, after that i think we will have seen the best the league has to offer. Agree to a certain respect but you are disrespecting the L2 Champions, Northampton, who are carrying on from last season - we lay them on Saturday. |

Did anyone else think it was a bit odd to see Easter step up and take that penalty. Usually it almost comes down to fisticuffs between Ellis and Matty to see who will take the thing. With no MT on the pitch Ellis didn't even bat an eyelid when Easter put the ball on the spot. Perhaps it is our way of countering the video evidence goalies collect of regular penalty takers? Ellis has banged his last three straight down the middle ...only a matter of time before a keeper stands tall and saves it, but as we've got decent pen takers all round the team maybe we're sharing it about so we don't become predictable from the spot. Linesy, Mansell, Browner, Lawrence, Billy Bob, Gaffers plenty of potential to pass it around the team and keep them guessing! Then hand it back to MT, Ellis and Jamma when they've realised it's futile trying to predict the gas penalty taker let alone the type of pen. |
