Roos 6.5 little to do
J Clarke 6 struggled a bit first half Lockyer 7 steady Hartley 7 better attacking centre half than defending Brown 6.5 average game Leadbitter 7 improved performance
Colkett 7 anonymous first half, better in a four man midfield Lines 8 our little bit of quality Sinclair 6.5 steady but we are more of an attacking force when he is off the pitch
Taylor 6.5 quiet game Gaffney 6.5 tough game against massive centre backs
Bodin 6 offered little Montano 7 made a difference Harrison 7 extra point for the goal
Crowd 8 good noise today Ref 3 Poor should have booked a Gills player in the first 30 seconds, never had control Gillingham 5 very average but a big strong team. Dack was class.

Roos 6 not overworked, kicking a bit wayward at times Leadbitter 4 awful first half, slightly better second Lockyer 7 struggled against noble in the air but still defended well Hartly 8 won most headers and solid in a three this time Clarke 6 ok but left there goal scorer unmarked, just remembered he wasn't on the pitch second half oops Brown 7 usual display Lines 8.5 great goal and always looking for the ball Sinclair 6 good defensive play Colkett 5 found it hard to get on the ball, couple of nice layoffs Gaffney 5 worked hard but not much service to feet and won very little in the air Taylor 5 got an assist but not as good as normal with the ball
subs Harrison 7 winning goal and used the ball well Bodin 6 gave us more threat in the final third Monty 6 as above
Crowd 7 kept with the team on a day when we weren't at our best Ref 4 Gills 5 without Dack very average

Roos. 6 decent enough no chance with goal Leads 5 lacking confidence ? Never looked up for crosses. Brown 6 not a wing back ! Better 2nd half. Lockyer 5.5 poor distribution ok defence Harley 6 did ok Clarke 6 did ok Sinclsir 5.7 not at his best Lines 9.3 without him we would have lost MOM
Colket 7 some class touches but we bypassed him with aerial balls too often
Taylor 5.8 not in the game enough but lots of high balls didn't help
Gafney 6.8 held it up well our best play bar lines first half
Bodin 6.4 did quite well in the change of formation that clearly works better at home. Montano 6.4 same as Bodin Harrison 7 put himself about and scored the winner, will always score goals. DC 10 terrible formation to start with at home especially when we don't have full backs that work as wing backs but once again made the right changes to win the game. It's almost as if he deliberately picks the wrong side or formation from the start so that he can amend it through the game to work for us and as strange as it is it just keeps working.
Ref minus 10 absolutely f**king clueless one of the worst refs I've ever seen, and his steps to mark out 10 yards for a free kick we're more like feet than yards, he also kept pointing up or down the pitch when a foul was made but didn't give it which gave the impression he'd given a foul but then he hadn't blown the whistle !! Bizarre and whoever told him he could referee needs shooting.

Roos 6
Leadbitter 5 poor passing and crossing - underhitting too many passes. J. Clarke 5.5 Lockyer 6 Hartley 5.5 poor passing Brown 6.5
Sinclair 5 passes behind players Lines 7 Colkett 6
Taylor 6 Gaffney 6.5 best player first half - unlucky to be subbed
Subs: Bodin Harrison 6 Montano 6
Crowd 5 Ref 5 Gillingham 4
Again DC is the messiah but it was a totally wasted first half - too much respect for the opposition - 5 defenders in the line -up !!! Why aren't bodin, moore or Montano picked from the start ? It would give the opposition a lot more to think about, Well done the Gas spirit and the players trying to play more footie than the opposition.

Roos 6 Unemployed for long periods. Clarke J 6. Steady performance Lockyer 6 As above. Hartley 7 Busiest and best of the backline. Leadbitter 6 Usual energetic attacking display. Would have been an eight but made three or four ill judged passes straight to Gills players in the first half. Brown 6.5. Usual steady Browner effort, denied a goal by a cracking save from the keeper. Sinclair 5. Usual service but not a forward pass in sight. Lines 8. MOM for me without his superbly taken goal. Colkett 6.5 Very quiet first half, better suited to change of formation after break. Taylor 4. Great pass to Lines for goal, but very poor today giving the ball away on numerous occasions by taking too many touches and looked disinterested at times especially when he stood off and did not tackle when he was the nearest man to the ball on more than one occasion. Gaffney 7. Worked tirelessly without support from Taylor on numerous occasions.
Bodin 6.5. Good second half effort. Harrison 6.5. As above Montano 6.5. As above.
Ref 5. Another inconsistent display from the man supposedly in charge. Gills. 5. Distinctly average side. Crowd 4 first half, who can blame them. 8 second half. Minutes applause on 78 minutes equally well supported by Gills fans. Well done to them and also for applauding our under 9's? on their halftime lap of the pitch.

Roos 6 safe with his hands erratic with his feet Leadbitter 5 couple of poor defensive lapses and generally under par but kept plugging away Browner 7 thought he did well in both formations..wish he had headed downwards when he got that chance in the first half. Excellent shot from a corner plus saving tackle as Gills threatened to break from another of our corners. Looked more comfortable when he had Monty for company Lockyer 7 great tackle on Nouble when Leadbitter gave it away dealt with most things well but none of the defensive unit came out of their goal with any credit Hartley 7 generally safe performance Clarke J. 6 sacrificed for a change of shape at half time must have been a close call between him and Leads as to who to take off. Sinclair 6 did a lot of battling, needed a cool head when put through on goal but didn't have one. Colkett 6 a few deft flicks and kicks but the game seemed to pass him by too much Lines 8 MotM was at the heart of all our best moments Gaffney 7 another hard working display Taylor 6.5 not back to his best yet but provided plenty of inventiveness
Bodin 7 made a difference in 2nd half Harrison 7 right place right time Montano 7 completed a trio of good substitutions
Referee 0.00001 for first 85 mins 1.9 for the remainder
Gillingham - Dack 6 the rest 3. Like the nickname of the Somerset and Devon railway...Slow and Dirty

Roos 6 very little to do but comfortable Leadbitter 5 quiet first half, got more involved second half. Appears to be lacking a little confidence to take people on Lockyer 6.5 steady game Hartly 7 the strongest of the 3 central defenders today Clarke 5 very quiet game Brown 6 another who had a quiet 1st half but better in the 2nd half Lines 8.5 MOM by some margin today, worked hard, always available and a great goal Sinclair 6 hard working and got some important challenges which was vital given Colkett/Lines don't tackle too often Colkett 5 weakest game so far, didn't touch the ball until the 19th minute, some good passes but formation didn't suit him and he was physically inferior and pushed off the ball too often Gaffney 5.5 never stopped but poor service and lost out to the central defenders in the air Taylor 5 poor game by Matty's standards, other than his assist for Lines was pretty anonymous
subs Harrison 7 freshened things up and took the goal well Bodin 6 still not back to his form of last season but we were a little more threatening when he came on Monty 6 like Bodin we were more threatening when Monty came on
Crowd 7 decent number and kept going even when we conceded Ref 5 Gills 5 disappointing

Roos 6.5 an easy afternoon Leadbitter 5.5 not at his best J. Clarke 6 an ok game Lockyer 6 still not the player we know Hartley 7 the best of the defenders Brown 6.5 better in the second half when Monty came on Sinclair 5.5 plenty of effort but little else Lines 8 M.o.M head and shoulders above the rest Colkett 6.5 some nice passes, some lazy give aways Taylor 6 an assist but Matty looked off the pace Gaffney 7 worked his socks off Subs: Bodin 5 ineffective Harrison 6.5 he looked up for it and got the winning goal Montano 7 DC under uses him, Monty should always start Crowd 6 stuck with the team which was hard work Ref 3 shocking Gillingham 4 a team of play acting spoilers, the big sub and Dack were the only players I'd want in our team

Roos 6 Did what he had to do well
Leadbitter 6 Better but not back to his best yet J. Clarke 6 Steady game Lockyer 6 Works well with Hartley, still a bit slow to react Hartley 7 Marshalled the back 3 well should be captain Brown 6 Ran the line well but poor at the back today
Sinclair 5 Yet more back passes, all huff and puff no substance Lines 8 Messi like performance to day Colkett 7 Did better in the 2nd half, lucky not to be booked/sent off for that cuff on Dack
Taylor 5 Had better days Gaffney 5 Poor heading today but ran well
Subs: Bodin 4 did very little Harrison 6 apart from the goal did little to excite Montano 6 had a good game for the short time he was on
Crowd 8 Apart from that noisy brat screaming in my ear behind me good singing from the Blacktorn end Ref 5 Could have sent 2 players off today Gillingham 5 Load of over priced misfits

Roos 6 - nothing to do. Distribution ok
Leadbitter - 5 poor game. Lost the ball a few times and crossing is too inconsistent J. Clarke - 6 good solid half. Lockyer - 6 decent not spectacular. One unbelievable ball to Taylor who set up a chance for gaffers Hartley - 7 best defender on the pitch Brown - 6 solid
Sinclair - 6.5 Did his job well as usual. Tough opposition in Dack but was good in the most part Lines - 8 ran the show Colkett - 6 quiet but touches of class and brilliance
Taylor - 6 not the best but played a part in both goals Gaffney - 7 runs and runs and hassles and puts himself about all game. Very underrated in what he does for the side and runs channels excellently. I'm a big fan of rorys and gets a lot of unnecessary stick
Subs: Bodin - 5.5 quiet Harrison - 6 quiet but scored the winner Montano - 7 best of the subs. Put in a quality ball across the face of goal and provided the winner. Hope he gets more game time
Crowd - 8 decent turn out atmosphere still lackinf Ref - 5 not good Gillingham - 4 dirty side who set up to disrupt. Couple of sheeeeds in the side too and with the exception of dack they're not all that

Roos 6 Very little do kicking could improve.
Leadbitter 4 shaky display, lacks confidence on the ball. J. Clarke 5 not his best. Lockyer 6 fairly solid. Hartley 7 a good game always assured. Brown 7 consistent game.
Sinclair 6 in a tight game he battled well just lacks quality on the ball. Lines 8 MOTM our best player on the day with a great finish. Colkett 6 not influential enough.
Taylor 6 great assist for lines staved of service. Gaffney 6 tried his best again living off scraps.
Subs: Bodin 5 Harrison 7 great goal Montano 7 great assist for goal
Crowd 4 got going at 78 mins. Ref 5 not the best to many bookings. Gillingham 6 came with a game plan nearly executed. Dack the best opposing player I have seen this season so far.

Results in, and Chris Lines is Man of the Match for the fourth time this season.
Since the start of his second spell with the club, only Lockyer (15) has been MotM more times than Lines (11)
The starting XI average was 5.67. This was the lowest rating since the defeat to Wycombe in February, 28 games ago.
It was also the lowest rating for a win ever on these threads. The previous lowest was 5.77 at home to Gateshead in the Conference. The lowest ever rating for a draw is 5.20 away to Halifax.
As 2nd May 1990 pointed out below, the figure above was wrong. The actual average was 6.23.
Gillingham's rating of 4.7 was the second lowest of the season behind Swindon's (4.0). However Swindon rated 6.8 before the abandonment, so Gillingham are arguably the worst team we have played this season.
Roos 6.2
Leadbitter 5.2 J. Clarke 5.7 Lockyer 6.3 Hartley 6.9 Brown 6.4
Sinclair 5.7 Lines 8.1 Colkett 6.2
Taylor 5.7 Gaffney 6.2
Subs: Bodin 5.5 Harrison 6.6 Montano 6.5
Crowd 6.8 Ref 4.3 Gillingham 4.7

What's with the change of user name uni gas? A punk band of all things! Just felt that it was time for a change. Didn't realise this username was the name of a punk bad, I just chose my favourite line from the Simpsons.
