Lack of width again like at MK. Think we'll win though regardless.

Great looking side !! Hang on who's providing the width ? Feel sorry for our Columbian - Monty !

Interesting to see Monty on the bench today.
Wasn't he sacked by Oldham for 'spot-fixing'?
Bet the fans will give him some stick.

No width again. I said I wouldn't question DC's choices but we were terrorised out wide on Tuesday and always have to swap to 442 to get anything from a game.

Think the truth was nothing was proven, or otherwise he'd have faced a lengthy fan? It seems DC's reverted to his "weekend" starting line up of Hartley in defence but now recalled JC at RB, Roberts not even worthy of a place on the bench!

Take a draw against decent opposition. Decent opposition? They're in the relegation zone...

a narrow 4-4-2,unusual for dc to play 3 creative midfield players especially in an away match, plenty of width on the bench but no harrison or bodin?

Granted there's a lack of width, but that looks like 4-4-2 to me. I like that midfield and we can always bring on Monty and Moore for a bit of pace when they're starting to tire!

To the people saying 'no width again', do we know that Oldham play with width? Because if they play a narrow system too, perhaps this is to combat that?
MK Dons and Oldham won't necessarily play in the same way and be able to exploit us in the same areas.

I like the look of that team, plenty of creativity in midfield with the beard defensive. I just hope we use the midfield and don't hoof high balls to Gaffers.
Think it will be tight and maybe just 1-0 to us. If we fall behind we've got 2 good wingers to bring on.

Huge Boateng, tiny Lines who chooses these pics?? However we could do with a huge Hiram performance today. Hope Browner doesn't get lonely out on the left!

MK Dons and Oldham won't necessarily play in the same way and be able to exploit us in the same areas. It's because more often than not we have to bring width on to save a game. Would be nice to start with 442 just once and see where it gets us. Last season DC messed around with formations particularly at home. We didn't the win at home for something like 8 games and then he started 442 against Carlisle and suddenly we looked a different team.
