John Laycock trying to get together a consortium. There is a Lindsay Parsons connection who used to be No2 to Pulis so maybe something is going on and rumour 1 and 2 are connected. I'll ignore the insults and the closed minds.

I had no idea Lindsay Parsons was involved with Tony Pulis. As for Laycock, it seems he puts his money into a few things as althepirate says. Maybe now Geoff Dunford has gone something will happen. No Gerry Francis in this rumour? No beard but nice mullet

Lets hope Rovers are ready to start ! If his is true, and I have no reason to doubt you Henbury based on past information, then this is huge news isn't it? If they timed this right and we did get a win on Saturday then the mood of the place will certainly take a turn for the better. I will still refuse to even think about UWE until the builders are in but that has to be good news, as good as we have heard in months I'd say.

I so wish it was good news , but its only part of the process of planning be it a bit further down the road, it still needs Sainsbury to pay the Rovers whatever is due and contracts in place with UWE & Buckingham before any Dozers move in But it's still news. I'm told it will be up on the South Glous web portal soon

The Laycock rumour was circulating months ago, so it looks like old news to me. Mind you he is worth a few bob!

I'd like the board to sort themselves out and for the attention to be put the footballing matters

If it's true why didn't NH mention this in today's interview, as if the deals virtually done I can't see confidentiality is any longer an issue.

Lindsay fell out with Pullis at Stoke. He was a scout there and went on to scout for Bristol City. Not sure if he and Pullis have kissed and made up jnow?
