My own opinions from the match, results to follow shortly.

Roos 4 Bad mistake for the first goal

Leadbitter 7 Got forward well making runs behind the fullback instead of taking him on
Lockyer 5 Caught out badly for the winner
Clarke-Salter 6.5 Fairly assured game
Brown 6.5 Got forward well

Sinclair 6.5 Decent game, covered a lot of ground
O. Clarke 6.5 The midfield looked really solid when he was on the pitch
Lines 6 A strange game for him, didn't contribute much
Colkett 6.5 Lots of good link-up play in the first half

Taylor 6 Out of the game for long periods
Gaffney 7.5 All-round play was excellent and he was involved in a lot of good build-up play

Subs: Harrison 4.5 Couldn't do anything right when he came on and the game got away from us
Easter 5 Didn't influence the game but at least didn't lose the ball like Harrison

Results in and Rory Gaffney is Man of the Match for the second time this season.

This was only the fourth time in these threads that a striker starting the match has been MotM despite not scoring. The other occasions were Taylor in the first two games of the Conference season and Gaffney last year at Oxford.

The starting XI average was 6.50. In September and October, the average for defeats (6.76) is almost the same as the average for wins (6.78). The average for draws is 6.22 in that time.

Not ratings related, but I was interested to note that Peterborough finished the match with their numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10 and 11 all on the pitch

Note: I didn't include negative ratings or ratings on only one player.

o clarke 7??? I thought he was awful...he's so slow off the mark!!
Playing lines and Clarke together to me isn't great at this level as there's far too many holes in midfield when they play together...gaffney was m.o.m for me and do feel sorry for top two as we don't seem to find balls on the deck behind the back four an easy thing to do and most of the time it's at gaffney's head....

I didn't think anyone was awful except for the error by Roos and Harrison,as for Clarke i thought he broke up play supported the attack and had one of his better games.
If you thought he was awful against Posh you should have watched him at MK Dons.
