Image result for scouse Scouse (/ˈskaʊs/; also, in academic sources, called Liverpool English or Merseyside English) is an accent and dialect of English found primarily in the Metropolitan county of Merseyside, and closely associated with the city of Liverpool.

Liverpool legend becomes manager of franchise joke club ? I'd be surprised to be honest , Gerrard comes across as a traditional football man and he must have had plenty of playing, coaching and managing offers. If he joins that shower of sh**e he'll go down massively in my estimations and I'd imagine a lot of proper football people's too.

Can we not remember his last significant contribution in an England shirt was that exquisite flick on for his teammate Sanchez to score for Uruguay and put us out of the last world cup. Tosser.

Once again an example of a great player who will, at least statistically, be a failure as a manager. May be wrong, but who'd bet against it? Just saying. UTG!

Surprised at all the anti Gerard nonsense on here as I bet if he signed this morning and it was announced he was playing it would put a 1,000+ on today's gate, assuming FA rules allow him to allow as he's now out of contract?

Despite starting the thread, I don't genuinely believe he will go there. Surely there will be a much better deal somewhere else financially and not as if Milton Keynes is close to home?

Not necessarily because its MK, but cos he'd be taking on a role at this level. Has to be better than Giggs, who will sit in every TV studio giving his insights until a Premier League team gives him a managerial role. Many ex-pros have shown that just because they were great players, doesn't mean they'll be great managers so I think its fair for them to prove their worth.

Really? You're surprised at the 'footballer plays for a different club we'll take the water but if he plays for us we'll support him' attitude. That's part of what being a football fan is about, surely?

I enjoy whining at opposition players for doing stuff, that I'd be delighted if they did it for us. Similarly I'm happy to praise our players for doing stuff I'd be calling opposition players cheats, or similar for. Or whining at the linesman for giving an offside against us that I know full well was offside really. I think most of us do. It's part of the fun. It wasn't supposed to be a criticism.

Don't know if this is true but the fella who sits next to us told me Gerrard was in one of the boxes.
If true then there's a good chance he will be getting the job.
I thought Franchise looked a decent side. Too good to be in the drop zone. They had a totally Sh it following though, I would have thought a few hundred more would have made the effort for a reasonably geographically close game.

I totally agree that managers to be should be looking to start at lower league clubs and work their way up in the way that the likes of DC Nigel Clough and the Bournemouth manager have. Just not that shower of sh**e joke club for a footballing legend like Steven Gerrard. Gary Neville going to manage Valencia as his first club what the hell was he thinking ?

Horrible franchise club, plastic, Sh it fans and a complete and unner cu nt for a manager.
