The American government had a secret plan in the 60s to drug its workers and members of the public with LSD just to see what would happen. They also had mind control research programmes which included the drugging and systematic sexual and mental abuse of children to produce sleeper agents and research mind control. These plans were actually carried out If anyones interested heres a link to some of the mkultra cia files archive.org/details/cia-collection?and%5B%5D=MKULTRA&sort=&page=24

Another american fact
The between 1932 and 1972 the us conducted an experiment on 399 black men, under the guise of free health during the great depression they were given syphilis without their knowledge or consent, had regular blood tests but were never given any form of treatment (what's even more surprising is after ww2 international laws were made about human experimentation) these were ignored by the us
See The Tuskegee study of untreated syphilis.

If an anorak salesman were to stumble upon this thread, this time next year he'd be a millionaire Rodney....fact ! The word Geek stems from an obsolete old English word "geck" meaning fool. That itself came from the Dutch "gek" which means very silly. Nerd is thought to come from students in the 60s who called studious, hard working students knurds, which is drunk backwards, to show that these learning types had their priorities all backwards. Hope this helps.

Spiked and studded dog-collars derive from the days of the Ancient Greeks, who would give their sheep-dogs sharply spiked collars to protect their necks from wolves whilst they watched over a Sheppard’s flock at night.

The organisation “Cult Awareness Network” once listed Scientology as its ‘#1 Most Dangerous Cult’. Scientology then sued the Cult Awareness Network and bought them out in a hostile takeover.

in the 1800's and early 1900's over 1/3rd of people in lunatic asylums were in there because they had syphilis.
Lunatic asylums were better for patients during the 1800's than they were from 1900 to approx 1960

The tea-bag was an accidental invention. This occurred in 1908 when tea merchant Thomas Sullivan distributed his tea samples in small, silken bags. His customers, not understanding that these were samples, dunked them and suddenly Sullivan was swamped with orders for his ‘tea bags’!

In 2002, Brazilian mechanic Alfredo Moser invented a new type of lamp that uses no electric. The Moser-lamp is made using a plastic bottle filled with water and a little bit of bleach (to stop algae), and works through the refraction. It provides roughly 40 – 60 watts per lamp! They are becoming popular in many poor countries and have been fitted in over 140,000 homes in the Philippines. Alfredo Moser has not made any money from his invention. What a legend!

The human race generates about 8.5 times the volume of the Empire State Building in poo each day.
Where does it all go?
