In the mid-1960s, Slumber Party Barbie came with a book called "How to Lose Weight". One of the tips was "Don’t eat". Your parents bought you a Barbie? That explains a lot. No, they didn't, that explains more.

During the scene in the film Alien where the face hugger bursts out of her chest, none of the other actors knew what was about to happen so all their reactions to it are completely real. Also none of the actors knew what the creature looked like until they did scene with it.

Talking of Barbie, I heard this the other day. If Barbie was a real person there would be no way she could walk or hold up her head.
Her feet are too small, legs too thin and torso too busty to be able to keep her balance. Also the head and neck are so disproportionate that she would require someone to hold her head for her.

Wasn't it a deliberate act of Ridley Scott to kill off the lead actor first to keep the audience guessing as to who would survive?

Also, I think the guy who played the Alien, was a really skinny African? Who was nigh on 7ft tall. Never acted before.

I have a hunch that that was the version you had to watch while smoking some strange stuff.

Talking of Barbie, has anyone watched any of the new Barbie cartoon films? They usually feature Barbie and her friends......I find them disturbing.

Fact of the day: I'm going for a beer or two straight after work! She away then? Nope. Meeting with my old workmate and diving partner David. He's an Everton fan. He retired from work at the end of December and has just got back from a dive trip to the Galapagos Islands, so he should have some interesting stories. He's a good lad.

Don't know how true this story is but I did read that India has a spike in STDs due to men buying Large sized condoms out of pride which were actually too large and didn't work properly.

Dad's Army one. John Le Mesurier actually outranked Arthur Lowe in the war.
In fact, many of the actors had interesting service careers. Arnold Ridley (Private Godfrey) served in both World Wars, have a look at his Wiki page, fought at the Somme.
