I would honestly have had a grin if this had happened the other way round if we'd been knocked out by a non league club. Surely there's room in this life for a bit of fun in a two club City?
As someone said above, no different to some of DC's comments - such as "Print that b@stard Grimsby Telegraph" - this game we all love so much is very emotive and pressurised, so why can't a bit of harmless banter be taken the right way?
We ain't gonna win the FA Cup, ever, so every time we make more progress in the competition than you lot, we have to look for opportunities to highlight it!
A lot of football club owners, chairmen, chief execs etc are condemned for being 'stuffy, corporate types' yet when one tweets like a proper fan he is called a 'knob jockey' - Wahey!
Sense of humour bypass? We are two clubs in a big, important City who have basically won naff all between us - we might as well have some fun along the way!

Lol when DC said "happy days" after you lost last year and we won your forum was full of "he's gonna be in the wrong place at the wrong time", and other remarks not positive or in the name of banter whatsoever. You lot hate it when it happens against you, but try to reason it when you do it to us. The funny thing though is how Steve L said "in a few years time no one will talk of Rovers", and yet here's his son talking about us years later.
