Just for today it doesn't matter how we won it's the 3 points, and the 4 goals. Defensively we have a problem But we know that.

Back to winning ways. For me Boateng and Colkett need to be starting every week, hopefully DC will give them a run now. I also think Gaffney up top with Taylor is our best partnership. Apart from Leadbitter for James Clarke, and Lines for Ollie Clark, I think that is probably our best team. Boateng definitely needs to start more but still not convinced that Colkett should be a regular. Seems a bit of a luxury at times and doesn't impose himself on a game as much as Lines can at the moment.

Bury were shocking. Don't have any idea what to make of Puddy as he didn't need to make a single save other than their two goals. Shortly after they made it 3-2, their guy ran through and a decent looking shot went just wide. He was going mad for a corner, so istm he thought Puddy had saved it. If it was a save, it was an excellent one. Looked to me in the south stand like he blasted it wide. Didn't see Puddy touch it. May be wrong, though.

He's a young lad who hasn't played "Men's" football before and will ultimately be hot and cold, but his natural technical ability is brilliant, as we've already seen with goals at Bradford, Northampton and Oldham, and that back heel pass that he pulled out the sky to help set up a goal at MK Dons was sheer brilliance. Give him a run of games and we will see a lot more of that I'm sure

I'd keep him for next week but just needs to keep it up now. Hopefully Lines will come back with the kick up the ass he needed.

Well that's a relief ! A decent ish performance against a terrible side but we still can't defend and will need to be better against better opposition which from what I've seen this season they all are. 3 points happy days !

The team Darrel has picked today looks solid. Strong defence, midfield and forward two. The strongest line up for a long time. Think there will be goals galore today! 4.1 Rovers. Goals? If we get one I'll be pleased! Thrashings were predicted last week..... I take it you were ecstatic today then mate?

Defensively it'll be interesting to see what DC does in January, is he going to bring in a replacement for Captain Locks or this summer's new centre half, or even both of them? DC's post match comments re Roos seem a bit harsh given Puddy's hardly proved himself any better yet.

Two appalling sides out there today. Thankfully we were the lesser of two poor teams.

Just got back. That's what it was after the past month, a relief. Thank god we won and now just outside play offs but in truth a good way above the other end. If we can't defend better than that it could still be a long winter. But from today I thought two things. Boateng and Colkett need to be given a run, they were good. Also and I never thought this was in doubt but Gaffney and Taylor are our best front two and need to start regularly. I don't see as many games as many on here do so I'm sure others will have different views but those two pairings should be among the first names on the team sheet imo. We will face better teams than Bury but we could and should have scored a hatful and 4-2 is a decent return after the past month. UTG!

i dont agree with people who say both teams were poor or that bury were poor,i thought both teams were good on the ball going forward although i agree both teams struggled defensively. people said rochdale and peterbro were rubbish but there right up the top end of the league now. i reckon from 5th place to 20th there is hardly anything in the teams in this division.

Boateng definitely had a good game on the ball, but the player who scored their first goal was his man, who he had failed to properly track.

Could be an interesting game Saturday with both teams on a bad run of form and the 2 leakiest defences in the league. I am determined to put to bed he myth of me being a jinx when it comes to starting match threads so here it is. This is the starting 11 I am tempted to go with... ---------------Puddy------------- Leadbitter----Lockyer-----Hartley-----Brown Bodin-------Mansell------Lines-----Montano -----------Taylor-------Gaffney--------- GGMI official match threads being "a jinx" are firmly put to bed!
