Few bad performances and losses and out come the doubters in their droves calling for the head of the manager and slagging of the players. Yes some players aren't good enough but nothing can be done until January and over the last two years they have earned the support which they're not getting vocally. Numbers may turn up but singing sh** like "What a load of rubbish"? Pathetic. The only thing pathetic was the performance by the majority of the players, not one shot on target against the bottom club who were missing players. Roll on January

Good post match interview from DC. For those who haven't seen it he's basically saying we're sh*t and he can't wait for January Hardly the motivation the players need.

Perhaps they'll wake up before it's too late if they can see fans are angry with their lack of effort. As far as January DC's already had the summer but brought in poor players in Moore & James, even Hartley, and failed to bring in an experienced goalie whose to say he'll do any better next month. To be fair to DC he's generally done ok in the transfer market and knew when to move players on like LDV and Dawson.

Just back.Awful.Their keeper had not one shot to save.We lacked fluency and offered very little quality. No wingers,Gaffers playing out wide constantly,The beard running around but achieving little.Shrews much better with their passing than us and panic stations at the back with Puddy making a right mess to gift their first goal.Pen not intentional handball but Shrews well worth their win. Can't mark anyone as it would be 4's all round and both MT and BB plus Colkett not at the races at all. Several middle aged supporters just behind the goal,to the left were the worse for drink and gave the stewards a hard time.Came late, left early and had the attention span of 3 year olds.several people moved away.Behaviour left a lot to be desired when a full scale slanging match broke out. Gaffers,Hartley and Ellis worked tirelessly but the overall lack of quality a real concern. Ref very fit, very good and sent their manager off for kicking the ball away from Gaffers.Big following, sadly angry at the end but with their keeper having nothing to do,perhaps our fans had every justification to vent their frustration.

Don't have to clap them off, but is there a need to aim abuse at players and sing about how sh** it was? Rovers fans are some of the most fickle in the country. Remember where we were two years ago and what could have been. I'm not one to be sentimental, and I'd happily see a few of them be shipped out for good but the least they deserve is the backing of the supporters.

Sounded sh**e on radio, everyone on here saying it was, manager says it was so why the surprise those that have spent their hard earned and time being there today are watered off?
And optimistic as we all want to be about the January window, it really feels like the spine of the team has gone. Building that back up isn't going to be easy. Tough test for DC

To be fair to DC he's generally done ok in the transfer market and knew when to move players on like LDV and Dawson. Those two are hardly the best examples as they were never officially our players just loan players, he's clearly has a problem moving on Puddy & Lawrence who weren't really up to Div 2 football let alone Div 1. I can't think of one player he's signed since our promotion who's a real improvement on basically our Conference side, hence why we played the whole of the second half today comprised fully of last season's squad, apart from Hartley who was playing in Div 2 anyway, no wonder they are now struggling.

Bodin was but since he cut his hair his form has gone to sh**.

I blame the match thread being messed around with. We won last week when I started it early and nobody messed with it. #GGMIThreadGate

Our team and Manager got everything they deserved today from our supporters who were fully justified in booing our team off. Not my opinion, DC's!

Just wish DC would keep the same side for once, may actually see a decent performance That was the problem. We may have won last week but a team of blind dogs could have beaten Bury. The diamond was a complete waste of time. The diamond is a Complete waste of time full stop. Anyone wondering why our early season form was so good and our recent form is so poor needs to look at the formations used during our matches. Early on we often started narrow but then changed it to wide and got the points or started wide and got the points. Lately we've been narrow ugly narrow and losing. It's there for all to see and if we continue with these narrow formations that clearly don't work then we will be in a relegation battle before long. This isn't a knee jerk reaction I've been saying it for weeks.

Tough test for DC The transfer window won't help much if we continue to play 4 central midfielders and no wide men, I remember a similar situation with I think it was Mc gheee or Ward in charge when we played 4 central midfielders and no wide men and it was crap then and it's crap now.

I've gone through life thinking i knew felt and understood the word "disappointment" - today I saw and felt what "disappointed" actuallly feels like! It was my first away match! I found the "weetabix" throwing hilarious (I'm still trying to understand it). The fans passion is something I admire hugely - onwards and upwards - for someone who has "never done footie" - I soooo get it now!!!! UTG!!!!

Bit quiet on here tonight. You'd think after a gutless appalling performance like that which plumbed new depths, people would be incandescent but no,very restrained polite comment. Good stuff,!

Who was it that made a feeble attempt at clearing the ball just before Puddy fecked up?
