Fully deserved win and 3 points. Their number 9 Elliott is a real handful but when you're that big it's hardly surprising. I expected more from the Dons. They had two big strong lads up front, and in the air they were a real handful, but with the ball at their feet? You wouldn`t mistake them for footballers. |

Really important win today, hopefully we will see Matty in 2017. Happy New Year to all gasheads . Going in to the new year that's my one and only worry as a gashesd. If he stays on and we keep with 4-4-2 we can beat anyone in this league. |

Harrison did well today but never looked like scoring. |

I hope Matty stays with us but he is so bloody good I can't see it, you never know though he must be happy or he would have been off last summer

Pleased for Matty played well , bodin was good , but Ollie Clarke played exceptionally well today best I've seen him play , personally think that's why our defence was so well organised due to Ollie breaking up eveything ! Well done all round lads ! Happy new year gas family !!!!!!

Would it be logical to leave in January?
He's in a team where he'll get game time as the no1 striker. He's on course for a 30+ season. If he leaves now it'll either be for a team panicking to maintain championship status, or he'll be battling to break into a championship team as he sits on the bench.

I thought all the players played very well to day; Linsey was my MOM. DC mentioned there would be some transfer action during January, suspect it might include a goalkeeper and a replacement for Matteee Taylor. Upwards and onwards UTG

If it was money why didn't he go in the summer? And wouldn't his price and options increase if he had a 30+ league one season behind him? Think it's more likely, if he leaves at all, that he'd go in a summer. |
