James Clarke coming in at right back is no bad thing for us, but it puts a lot of pressure on McChrystal if no-one comes in tomorrow and we are arguably 2 centre backs and a full back short, now. sounds like the perfect time to give Tom Locks a rest now too!

The only good thing about this is that it's happened in January which allows us to bring in a replacement. All this 'McChrystal has never let us down' rubbish is just that, rubbish. I've seen his 4 appearances this season and in 3 of them he's been a liability. So much so that we might have been better playing with 10. He's a good honest pro and has been a great servant to the club but he's not a L1 standard defender. Based on what I've seen this season I'd say his L2 days could be behind him as well. There's a very good reason why he's featured so little and that's because Clarke knows he's no longer up to the job.
Really need a CB in before Saturday.

Only have 3 fit CB's, 2 haven't played regularly for a while now. Cant see Locks being rested anytime soon.

Player gets injured shock horror. I am certain we can all remember when we used to suffer a cruciate ligament injury every 3 months. Our injury record has been fantastic the last 2 years.
He will be replaced if needs be. How come there is a mini melt with every piece of news atm? Is everybody seriously that negative?
We are 10th in league 1.

You could say that about Mr "Undropable" Tom Lockyer recently

Just a few reasons off the top of my head: - Our manager is being undermined by our owner - DC isn't ambitious and doesn't want the club to get to the Championship so is putting our reserve team out in a bid to jeopardise our chances of promotion - UWE now want 400 x the original value of the land - Someone is bullsh*tting How many more reasons do you want for crying out loud!!

Losing Hartley is a massive blow but I'd happily see Clarke come in at right back but long term I don't think Clarke or leadbitter are at league one level.

All out attack 3 at the back Leads, Tom & Browner load the attack and keep Leads and Browner bombing down the wings. Win 5-4 every game. PS bring Puddy up for corners to replace Hartleys threat

But on the other hand I think Leadbitter is capable of being league 1 level as he is young and learning. He needs to keep progressing and I believe he'll be fine. And I haven't seen too many RB this year who I can recall being considerably better than either Clarke or Leads. I'm sure there have been a couple but it's not like either have been outclassed in every game they play.
