I wouldn't be surprised to see him play but equally if as suggested another CB is signed this week the option is there to leave him out. Assuming we play 4-4-2 we'd have Lockyer, J Clarke, Partington, Sweeney & AN Other competing for 2 spots Why couldn't Partington start today? Because the manager didn't pick him ?

Pathetic again. I can't justify the money for away games any more. I've been to 8 this season and apart from Chelsea and the Bradford draw they've been a disgrace. Bloody hell mate, it must have been bad. You are one of the fairest and pro club people I know!

It's Rovers fans being Rovers fans. The last two seasons have really got to peoples heads and they think we're some sort of invincible team. We win a few games and people go on about promotion but we lose a few and the same people will then slate the manager and players and talk about how we're going to get relegated. The same people come out when we're on a bad run of form (Padstow & Co) but are nowhere to be seen when we're doing well. Boring. Nail on the head.

No I wasn't, but I don't judge a player on 1 game. Good on you for posting on here while you were at the game When I'm at a game prefer to watch the game... If you look at my time line you'll see I was posting on my way home, although the second half was so poor I was tempted to leave early. I'll post a copy of my ticket if you still don't believe me. I can't see an inexperienced kid is going to solve our defensive problems but I live in hope. So you were posting this this at 4.00 on your way home.... "New goalie hasn't touched the ball apart from taking goal kicks! Bodin, our best attacker, subbed off injured now for James. " You must have made it home by full time......

I was arm rye game and have been to many home and away and I have 3 words to sum up today's and other recent away games CLARKE OUT NOW He has done great for us in the past but like a lot of players he is out of his depth in this league I am now putting on my tin helmet Okay then, who should we replace him with who is definitely available? They would also have little time to make any transfers in this window

Biggest shower of sh**e I have witnessed for a long time today from Rovers, individual errors for their goals, passing was embarrassing and effort and passion non existent.
Lumley 7 Leads 6 Lockyer 6, did well up until that slip Clarke 7 Brown 5 Sincs 5 Lines 4
Ah feck it I can't be bothered to finish this , they couldn't be bothered to turn up and I wasted loads of money. UTG [
If any Rovers players are reading this, you let us down badly today. All of you.

Tom won't be dropped next week I would guarantee that Good. he's our best young player. The forum only gets on his case when we lose. There are 10 players around him responsible for the mistakes we make. All players make mistakes every game.

I think Tom needs a break for his own good. Fitness wise is so him good, and fighting to get his place back might focus his mind better. He's showing too many lapses in concentation for someone who has so much talent

We have the third highest goals for in the division, and the second worst goals against! Pretty clear where the focus is needed, and when we have two key centre backs out injured and then telling one of our best back up defenders he won't be selected - when we didn't have a suitable replacement in place - is sheer lunacy.

When they cross the white line they should be able to pass a fecking ball to their own players. They'll improve and play better this season but today was the pits.

Wasn't there today but becomes more and more obvious its a combination central defence / GK issue from what I heard. Bet the final bits of DC's January jigsaw are these positions. Right pub beckons. Catch you later . . . It's definitely a combination of GK and CB when the manager goes 2 at the back. Oddly you concede goals but blame lockyer or any of the others of it makes you feel better I do agree that DC went gung-ho too early, didn't really know what formation we were playing on the hour or where Sinclair was supposed to be once Leads went off. However, it's not the first time Lockyer has had a questionable performance in this run, Shrews and Charlton we didn't have that change in tactic like we did today. Don't feel its a case of criticising him specifically, but giving a game or two out after a massively impressive couple of years. Partington has the physique of the dominant centre half we need, however whether he plays like one is another matter. Want to see him given a go now, eventually alongside Locks.

DC is so arrogant at times its beyound belief Maybe, but got impression from that interview he is feeling he needs to build his team up a bit. Sounded genuinely like he was feeling sorry for them I thought. Can only imagine its been a tough week behind the scenes so perhaps no surprises we played pants. But I am sure there is still more tough words to come. Cant see how locks will keep his place at this rate. But he has to be a key part of the team spirit we've had and need. Rebuilding in face of adversity is no easy task TBH, I thought DC gave a good interview after the game. Outlined the issues, said that individual errors have happened too often. Knows what's needed and said that a genuine promotion bid CAN be achieved in the next 2 - 3 years. He didn't say we have to wait that long but he feels it COULD be that long. I felt positive after hearing that which is more than I can say after hearing Hamer !!
