Results in and Ollie Clarke was Man of the Match for a third game in a row. This is the 8th occasion of a player scoring a hat-trick of MotMs. The others were Trotman (Oct 14), Parkes (Jan 15), Lines (Apr 15) and Harrison (May 15) in the conference and Lockyer (Sep 15), Gaffney (Jan 16) and Bodin (May 16) in league 2. Continuing from my post after the last match, Clarke now has been MotM or runner-up in five consecutive games. Only one other player has had an equal or longer run, Neal Trotman whose run was 6 games. Ryan Sweeney was runner-up on his debut. The other players to have achieved this feat are: Cunnington, Nicholls, Gaffney, Moore and Clarke-Salter. Last week's thread contains a list of the player's who were MotM on debut. linkThe starting XI average was 7.03. I made a mistake on the average from Walsall as Lumley's score was not included. Therefore the average was 4.56 not the 4.05 as previously stated. Lumley 7.0 Leadbitter 6.5 Lockyer 6.9 Sweeney 7.7 Brown 6.1 Bodin 7.4 Lines 7.0 O. Clarke 8.0Sinclair 7.6 Taylor 6.5 Harrison 6.5 Subs: Gaffney 5.0 Moore 3.5 James 5.2 Crowd 7.1 Ref 5.6 Swindon 4.0
