Anyone...anyone but the sh**e ! WTF is he thinking? ANY other professional football club in the world, and he would have been welcomed back at the Mem warmly at any time. Yes, we thank him for his contributions to our climb, but that thanks should go both ways as Rovers are the club that developed him via DC and Stewie........but fer chrissakes, the sh**e !

Forget Matt Taylor, he has been stale recently and instead focus on the massive talent that is Billy Bodin. We need to support and value him and hope that he is not going to be enticed away. We need Harrison and Gaffney to get stuck in and score more goals as they are well capable.

Bit gutted this has happened at the 11th hour but at the Gas we deal with adversity and we thrive. We still have DC and switch Bodin to up top and I think we might have a better strike force. We need to galvanise as a team, club and support and get going. This could be what brings us together and gets us across the line. UTG.

I hope you're happy and you've got what you wanted, I understand the need to make a living - we all do but many young Rovers fans worshipped you and will be very upset today, most Gasheads are extremely disappointed to put it politely you could have gone to almost any other league club - do you understand the history?..... Hope you appreciate the work that Darrel Clarke and Marcus Stewart have put in to make you a decent player, I'm sure they're over the moon with your loyalty. I'm sure you'll miss the close nit group of players that supported you as you progressed from the conference....
Thanks for the goals, I think you'll find the culture and environment a bit different south of the river particularly if you hit poor form...
I hope our management understand and realise the significance of what has happened, and have a plan in place, and that the 'undisclosed fee' to BRFC was high enough to compensate for the grief all round that your ill-judged move will cause.
No player is indispensable and we will progress without you - shame you won't be with us for the ride....

Absolute masterstroke from Lansdown. Completely deflected the attention from their poor form and the fact the Johnson is still there.
Once the dust settles on this I'd be a bit wary if I was a ted. The Snake which is now his official name will have known full well the sh** storm this would cause, yet he went anyway. This says to me that A) they've given him a pretty hefty wage to put up with the inevitable sh** he will get and B) would you want a player that can just stab you in the back like that?
