If Southend and millwall win tomorrow night then Scunthorpe are gonna really start to feel the pressure, I don't think we'll make it but I wouldn't be surprised if we still finished above them Amazing how they seemingly have lost their way after looking like odds on certainties to win automatic promotion for so long in 2016 They were carried by Morris in the first half of the season. A Scunny fan I know said he's been one of their worst players since the turn of the year and so it's no surprise to see them on such a terrible run. A bit like last year when Gillingham were great for half a season because Dack was carrying them. Then he stopped performing

And Preston are still in with a shout for a play off place. However, like others have said, it always feels like City will just manage to stay up.I hope I am wrong and the whole snake thing might just come back to bite them if Karma has anything to do with it.Just imagine a season together in the same division- that would really create some local interest.

Given he left us to play at a higher level, if City were to be relegated I wonder if he would request a transfer to get back into the Championship, or if he would continue with that pay increase back in L1 again?
As money was apparently not the incentive, I presume it must be the former?

Who would want a player who failed to play 90mins in the Championship, did jack sh1t, missed 2 open goals and is now known as a money follower? Made his bed.

Aren't they both linked though, you get higher wages by playing at an higher level? I doubt he would have even considered a move if the 82ers had just said they'd match his Rovers wages.

Not necessarily, I know for a fact quite a few Portsmouth players are on more than some of our players, but I know what you mean.
Im sure even with a wage cut from relegation Matty can still afford to keep on his butler.

He dropped us for money. That's it. Yes, and I'll bet the deal was done and dusted well before the last day of the transfer window. I have no doubt the Trecherous little Snake colluded with that Rosy Cheeked Twat before the turn of the year, and agreed to delay announcing the deal until the end of the window. That tax-dodging Lady Garden calculated that would damage play off hopes, deprive us of the opportunity to sign a replacement, and also give him a media coup that he could exploit. This he did in the crassest, blingiest way possible, and so demonstrated that he, and the whole pile of festering sh1t south of the river have absolutely no class whatsoever. There was no way he could countenance or accept us possibly going up if his team looked like getting relegated, and he was determined to pull whatever stroke it took to intervene. What an absolute Lady Garden.

Amazing how they seemingly have lost their way after looking like odds on certainties to win automatic promotion for so long in 2016 Well I would expect nothing less from a team with a very rude and offensive 4 letter word in the middle of their name. There is a football forum where you can't spell Scunthorpe, the swear filter puts ######## instead!

Should be routine wins for Rochdale and 'Wall, Southend will struggle but wouldn't be surprised if they got something.
That's the trouble hoping the better sides in the division slip up, being one of the better sides they don't so much. Still, this part of the season does throw up a few surprises.

Really hope so as would be good to start seeing their goal difference seriously eroded When they lose tonight they will be under even more pressure on Saturday and they have Wolves at home who are really starting to hit form and pull away, so that will be a tough game for them. Mind you when your sh** every game is a tough game! Blackburn away in a couple of weeks time let's hope Blackburn can edge in front of them by then and the sh** will crack big time. See you next year snakey, at the Mem.
