If Judas left last minute then Miller would have left later...so that wouldn't have given Dover any time to find a new striker so they were sacrificing their season. No wonder they wanted a large fee.

I thought Clarke said in an interview that he made an enquiry about Miller but Dovers valuation didn't meet ours and he thought he was over priced so didn't pursue it. Miller will know full well that he's going to get plenty of offers in the summer from league clubs. Him waiting means the competition to sign him will mean higher wages and probably a tidy signing on fee too. Will he get plenty of offers though? The snake tried to play that game last summer and went nowhere, made sure he had a poor release clause (from the clubs perspective if the rumours are true) and then jumped at the first offer he got. I'm not sure he wanted to play for the sh!t, he wanted to play Championship footy at any cost... If that were true then why was it only City who offered a fee to activate the clause. If snake didnt care where he went the agent would have been ringing every Championship club letting them know about it. Even DC knew why only 1 club came in for him and im pretty sure his agent did all her could to get him there and there only. Cant prove anything of course but it was all very shady and I hope we dont do business with that agent again.

This whole thread about Miller is bizarre! It's almost as if he's the only forward out there to sign in the Summer. People seem a bit obsessed with him. What I think is of no consequenc but if DC thinks he's good then ok but I'm not sure he's DCs kind of player character-wise. This whole thread reminds me of the Summer 2013 when Magoo spent the whole of it chasing Constable from Oxford but never got him and didn't have a plan B. So we started the the season without a new striker. All our eggs were in one basket and we didn't get it. The same with John Ward in Summer 2013, spent all his time chasing JJOT, got him and then realised too late we had no strikers and didn't get one. That ended up well didn't it? This thread is reminding me of those times. Thankfully now DC is in charge of our transfer policy and and not some of us!! UTG!

I don't think Mark McChrystal is using the same agent, happy to be proved wrong. Steve Hamer when questioned on the matter said something along the lines of "If you have been burgled, you dont invite the burgler back in too your house". Hence Jamers lack of game time and inclusion in the squad. UTG

UTG I thought the main reason given was that the club didn't want to trigger the contract extension for next season, which would happen if he played in another game (he's played in 59 matches in total). The agent talk by SH seems nonsense unless DC knew MT was off when he told Easter he wouldn't play again! There was also a suggestion Easter faced a career ending knee op but there's been no suggestions he's now undergone the op.

Hence not wanting to give him an extension.

Not doubt their agent was already upsetting the apple cart, information that was confidential had already been released into the public forum (although never officially clarified) that resulted in the "un-named" one eventually disappearing across the river. It's all history now though, so lets enjoy the rest of the season and hopefully continue amusing ourselves at the plight of "them down the road"

FFS....Nobody is lying! That is an absurd thing to say. Is it any wonder you take so much stick on this forum? The Easter and Taylor things are totally unconnected, even if, by chance, they share the same agent.

As we all know "the transfer" did, the alledged release clause was being bandied about for at least a month before. Somebody in the know had obviously leaked it hoping for a transfer war to line their pockets, that is my opinion and not an ITK comment. In the words from the score of Frozen "Let it go"
