Ronaldinio and Robbie Keane anyone? Oh, that was a joke by the way before some Dam at the post decides to say Rovers fans hope to welcome samba football to the Mem. You Dam clowns.

Drogba wasn't a joke.
Bristol Post print: 'Rovers fans fully expect Didier Drogba to sign for them before the end of the week. A Mr. Fargas of Horfield claimed to be in-the-know, and was very confident about the impending signing.'
You'll have to add your own typos, though. I can't do everything for you.

"In November 2016, Keane stated that he would be leaving LA Galaxy after his contract expired at the end of the season, but that he would not be retiring, after a short break he hoped to join an English Div 1 club challenging for the Play Offs"
Print that!

If I presented Jonathan Kodjia with a bottle of champagne for putting one over the sh*theads last night would they print that? Or does it not work that way round?

Doesn't anybody we sign ideally also want to be a possible option for next season as well, rather than just a desperation signing like Cureton? Not necessarily ,having cureton in the squad for our last 12 games could really help the likes of James Harrison Lucas and Gafney. Just being around such a prolific scorer could give them a lift to score the goals we all want

Would they, or would they all be cheesed off some timer was taking their place whilst offering little on the pitch, isn't MS here already to coach them? I'd have thought we need a striker who can play 60 mins not 15 mins anyway? I hope DC's laughing at the thought of DC returning rather than looking to sign him.

Some timer taking their place whilst offering little on the pitch ? Firstly Cureton would have to earn his place in the team and secondly if he offered little he'd be back out of the team so like I said little risk but plenty plenty to gain perhaps. We haven't got one experienced striker who's been there and done it successfully at league 1 level other than arguably Easter and he's been told to move on. I think having Cureton in the squad would help our reletivley young and inexperienced at this level strikers. It doesn't have to be Cureton of course but we are crying out for someone who knows where the back of the net is and who's scored at this level. I'm surprised Easter has been told he can move on and won't play again because I think he'd work well in opening up chances for our goal shy strikers and would chip in with a few himself. Maybe the fact that Easter isn't playing proves that the experience of Cureton or someone similar isn't what DC wants but personally I think it's what our strikers need. Harrison Gafney and James have hardly played let alone scored at this level before. Yes we've got Marcus Stewart but when the game kicks off he's stood on the touch line with DC .

Cureton would be a massive step backwards at this stage and would add nothing at all as his career has effectively come to a close certainly as a League player and I certainly would not want us to be handing him a pay off after the number of times he has messed us around and always gone for the best financial deal. I prefer to remember him as he was first time around here- an excellent goalscorer but that was twenty years ago!!!

I'm sure he would have finished that Harrison chance on Tuesday.
Could be the difference short-term but I can understand arguments against taking him on.

Could he have started it? haha I knew someone would come back with that. Maybe, maybe not but when it comes to being in the right positions and putting away chances in the box Cureton is still better than any of our attackers.
