There is no way DC will ever go there. Look at the way they hounded Tony Pulis out because of his Rovers connection, yet he has proven to be one of the best British managers in the Premiership.

And yet if we review the posts on here over the past 9 months, you will find ridicoulous amounts of comments from many on here, challenging DC's decisions, inability to improve players, sticking with 'useless' players (ollie Clarke), offering last years squad contracts, poor rotation policy, not playing 442 every week, etc etc..........all during a season which is likely to end with our best position in 17 years!!
It is clear there is very little loyalty in football, as we all know that if Rovers had struggled this season, those criticism's will have been multiplied massively, and I have no doubt those same people will have been pushing strongly for DC's sacking, and DC will of course be well aware of this, and the fickle nature of support.
Therefore, whilst I would like to think that DC would never cross the river, he is certainly not niaive enough to believe his role here is safe for any prolonged period, and therefore I believe he would be mad not to consider a suitable offer should it come, whilst his stock is so high....given even the perennial moaners on here are finding nothing to moan about at present!

Being that Bristol is a bigger city compared to Leicester, there would be more out cry if DC was sacked by us after a bad spell than that seen when claudio Ranieri was sacked. Despite what we think, no football manager is ever safe!!
PS, i just wrote this drivel to get an appearance on one turd in bristol!

Sorry but "whatever"
Triple wages, triple budget. Bollocks to "he's a nice guy". Every man has his price.
It would be the aggro that would prevent it. Or am I just a nasty cynic?

This has turned into a totally irrelevant thread. It happened last season and the one before that. We're currently on a great run, playing fantastic, players standing up being counted, not saying what we might be capable of achieving this season, but deep down knowing it's a REAL possibility. So what do we do? Start going on about how some of us would feel if DC went to the other side. I mean really, what a load of cobblers. 'Cos things are going well on the pitch some of us feel we have to invent stuff to moan about. It's a joke and to be honest, I think it's an insult to DC and his staff and players. Just think about what he does not what you think he might do if this happens, which might make that happen and when that happens, then usually this will happen which will more often than not mean that that won't happen times two, or not. In DC we trust. UTG!
