I'm thinking 2-1 today. An early goal from Bodin will make it one nil to us which will be cancelled out by Southend fairly soon after. 1 - 1 for the majority of the game before Gaffney tests the strength of the net with an audacious strike in the dying minutes. 7/10 |

Mansel got a tough job being the only natural defensive player in that midfield four. I don't expect him to see the game out but he'll give 100% that's for sure. Looks like we're going to really attack from the off today then hopefully shut the game out once we're in front. Opposite of what we normally do perhaps ? Well Manse saw the game out, and I thought that he played pretty well for a player who hadn't played much first team football recently. |

First game of season for me. Great start. Excellent First half. Solid defensive performance. I'm off to Bury on Tuesday. Can't wait. Take each game one at a time said Daryl on Radio Bristol. All we can do is win each game and see where it takes us. If we do then it will be a ground breaking finish. But some of you would all expect me to say that. Up the gas.

That's one of the worst referees I've seen! Two excellent finishes allowed us to sit and soak it up. Why they took Fortune off was an absolute mystery, he was causing problems. Manse played intelligently although having 2 in here without Sincs energy meant they dominated in the middle. Simon Cox is an irritating twerp.
