I'm not a season ticket holder, but have voted for the 10% rise because £2 extra on walk up price wouldn't deter people from attending imo.The cheaper the better of course, but how many other clubs have prices been frozen for 6 years?

I vote for an increase in all the things I like to spend money on. Trololol I know this is a light-hearted comment but I agree with it! Anyone would think this thread was a set up from someone inside the club..... Why the need to increase ticket prices when, in those last 6 seasons when the price has been frozen, our average attendance has improved year on year?: 2011/12 6,035 (Buckle sacked, McGhee recovery) 2012/13 6,309 (McGhee sacked, Ward recovery) 2013/14 6,421 Relegation 2014/15 6,629 Promotion from Conference 2015/16 8,096 Promotion from league 2 2016/17 c.9,000 Pushing for play-offs? I don't think now's the time to put prices up. Maybe there is some justification if we were filling out the Mem to capacity every week but the priority now has to be to keep on increasing crowd sizes, particularly with a potential stadium move on the horizon.

I'm just a Gashead who has supported The Gas for 58 years and can remember us playing in the Championship (old division 1) when we played the likes of Aston Villa, Wolves, Nottm For, Derby and QPR with attendances of 25k+.
We are now 90% at filing the stadium and DC has admitted that his budget puts us outside the top ten in this division so we need to increase that. Yes an extra 2k per game would be great but a lot of this depends on attendance by the opposition and the likes of Bury, Rochdale, Fleetwood and Wimbledon are not like Bolton and Sheff Utd.
The current owners have shown their long term commitment with the training ground and a large addition to the non playing staff - media, training and physio departments. Surely, a few extra pounds being contributed by Gasheads, the cost of one extra pint or Cola would not go amiss but everyone has their limits and I fully understand this especially if you have not received a pay rise for the last few years.

I fully understand the need for increased investment for the club to 'Kick on' especially if we continue our progress.
I just personally will feel really sad for the supporters who have turned up religiously to follow and support their team only to find they can't afford to watch at the higher level we all dreamed of while watching us in non-league. It's just a fact of modern football i suppose but i genuinely feel for supporters/families who are priced out of attending games when their team becomes more successful.

I have a season ticket, been to ten away games, I'd happily pay more after the last three seasons. Anyone who's watched them long enough and watched some of sh**e teams we've had, couldn't begrudge a little price hike.

Voted Yes (5%), since prices have been frozen for a while I think a price rise is not unreasonable but we do need to keep the ticket prices sensible to maintain good attendances. I'm not a ST holder at the moment but this season I have been to the majority of home games so I have decided to buy one for next year. Does anyone know when they can be purchased? I'd happily get one now if it was possible!

We have the sixth highest average attendance yet our budget is outside the top ten.......mmmmmmmm

The home attendance does not seem to have any bearing on the player budget.

Bit of a tangent, but I wonder if we were at the UWE next season would everyone expect a price rise/reduction?
To my mind it would make sense to drop the prices to fill the place. Hopefully that would be easily covered by the extra revenue we can generate with the new stadium.

Whether we like it or not, I'm afraid the time is fast approaching when costs will rise.

I know a couple of people who would struggle to make as many games if/when prices go up.

5% is good by me. That's infinitely bigger than any pay rise that I am likely to get for cost of living.
Means me and the boys are around £360 for a season in the South Stand. Bargain!

Whatever happened to financial fair play or does that not apply at our level?

Great value in the family stand, £280 for me and the nipper for the season
Amazing value to be fair, I wouldn't complain at an increase

Whatever happened to financial fair play or does that not apply at our level? It does, and it is high time the tossers at the FA actually enforced some of the rules they dream up

I pay on the day and with my £2 change from a match ticket, buy 2 50/50's. If the cost went up 10% to £20, although it wouldn't deter me from going I would probably carry on past the seller.

My friend has received her renewal info for a disabled season ticket. I think it has gone up from £120 to £125 - an increase of 4% - although I never paid too much attention in the maths class, so you might want to check my calculation.

I voted that I would pay extra, although I think we're still quite expensive.
My daughter is 11, her ST in the DriBuild was £150 or £180 (can't remember exactly, but think it was the latter) .
Her cousin, who is 14, has a ST over on the dark side. It costs £50.
I hope the extra capacity at UWE will mean we can compete with this.
