There were over 4000 away fans there your always going to get idiots it's not just our club, I'm not saying we've just got to accept it I'm just saying that we're not going to get deducted points because of it. These things happen at football matches all the time at most clubs.

Dunno if that was aimed at my post or not but I'm not making excuses I'm just saying that most clubs have their idiots always have and always will. Some people are talking about our situation like we're the only club in the land with trouble makers.

Should we take our own official stewards to oversee away games would this help to control the morons ,who spoil other people's enjoyment.

I'm not so sure our club has got a dreadful record home and away. If one idiot in a Rovers coat hits someone that doesn't give our club a dreadful reputation. Most supporters of other clubs and even officials at other clubs are usually very complimentary about our supporters and I think the odd incident can very quickly become sensationalised in this day and age with social media the way it is.

To suggest we should be docked points because some fans in the concourse were singing during a minutes silence on the pitch or because one bloke hit another bloke is ridiculous. Much worse things happen on a much grander scale at other clubs and they don't get a points reduction.

Agree re the social media thing. Some woman claiming to be an Oxford fan on the League 1 banter page claims her teenage niece was attacked in the bowling after the game a few weeks back. Despite the fact she ignores my questions as to why this has never been reported to the police and why there isn't any CCTV she still pipes up with it and the stalking Teds have now taken it as fact. I'm still waiting for any evidence and am happy to be proved wrong.

When leaving the ground with my Mrs, a 7 year old and a 10 year old i witnessed nobs from both sides acting like hardmen. I saw 2 people arrested. After trying to divert my family away from the bother we got in the car and tried to drive only to watch punches thrown at the other end of the carpark. Tried to divert the kids attention but had to explain this sh** to them which just topped off quite a crap day really. Some rovers supporters are idiots. A reflection of people in general. But anyone in denial on this thread that we have plenty of idiots need to be a little more realistic. It ain't new, but it's always sh**.

Shall we focus on what we do bloody agree on.
We have a small element of stupid, disrespectful people who are causing trouble and giving our club a bad name. These so-called 'supporters' seem to think going to a football match gives them carte blanche to act aggressively and in an anti-social way that would not be tolerated normally.
Football day's out DO NOT allow people to do what they sodding want end of story!
Let's not over react. However, if you are a decent follower of our club do the right thing - REPORT IT to the Stewards/Police on the day and also to our club officials! ...and not only that, as a group follow it up and tell the club we don't want anything to do with these individuals and would like the club to take action to remove them in any way we can.
Together we can help rid our club of these idiots.
And finally on a personal note, if you are one of these vermin: You don't look hard or clever. You look chuffkin stupid and 99% of your fellow Gasheads think you're a total pr1ck!
