Best points total in what, 17 years? (Relative to league), and some people still aren't happy!
We could have been struggling in the conference alike Torquay but instead we went into the final weeks of the League 1 season still with a shot of promotion.
Disappointing result yes, but don't let it cloud over what has been an excellent first season back in League 1.

Think the "we struggle against bad teams" is very unfair. We struggle against them away from home... as we have done against most teams this season.
Beat swindon coventry bury Shrewsbury etc very convincingly at home.

Can anybody explain how we lost to Bury, Coventry & Gills but beat Wimbledon & Oxford, lack of application possibly at Coventry but it sounds like we gave everything today. Still think we need a mean CF who'll rough some of these bottom 4 defences up.

Most would have taken this in August! Shame about City but little Lee will be in charge next season - that really should cheer us up! UTG.

I do not understand when it is 1-1 we put our centre backs into the attack and we let 2 goals in. A bit f**king obvious really doooooooooohhhhhhhh! I would not concede a match to anyone under any circumstance. At 1-1 we had an even chance to win and remain in shape at the back.

Gills & Coventry hadn't won for weeks when we played them but we still lost.

It was a must win so DC went for it, we could have just as easily scored as conceded, if we'd kept 3 at the back we had little chance of Harrison, James or Easter scoring given that neither even had a decent shot in the second half.

You are wierdo and obviously you don't understand f**k all about passion and the will to win, full respect to DC for going for it, so I say again doooooooohhhhhh! 1 point was no good so who cares that we got none at least we had a go!

The truth is we are not good enough yet to go up. Well done DC and the squad for the journey over the last three seasons. Over now, plan everything now for next year

This tactic of abandoning defence has not worked on a number of occasions this season and it has cost us vital points which could have put us in the play offs. Please keep your insults to yourself.

Yes great season but DC will know he has a long shopping list in the summer. Yes, 1 effective striker and a permanent goal keeper, a very long list. Add another four or five to that small list and we might have a chance of challenging near the top. Anything less than that and we may well find ourselves nearer the bottom of the table.

Absolutely, two additions would not give a squad that would challenge at the top end of the table...listening to DC post match interview he is very aware of the need to plan and build on this season.

Can you list the games where we've lost the 7/8pts needed to put us in the play off spots tonight?
