Well that's all DC's targets met for the season, stay up, get more points than we got in our first season back last time, finish higher than first season back last time, get higher points total than any season in the last period we had in L1 and finish higher than any season in the last period we were in L1, massive achievement in the first season after back to back promotions!

Well done, Ellis. Cracking attendance given the disappointment of Friday.

What a shower of sh** Oldham are. No wonder they've only scored 30 goals all season. They literally do nothing. Just turn up and get in the way.

DC abandoned defence at Gillingham and threw away possibly one or three points. I hope he has learned a lesson for the future. Amazingly we are still in with a remote chance.

Just got home, christ that was dull but left with a weird feeling given today keeps the faint hope alive. Not really sure what to feel! Think we will struggle if we play like that against Millwall thats for sure

Interesting....... ...just how important could that point, and extra plus 2 on GD, that we threw away at Gillingham be.... It won't be important at all.

If 73pts with +3 goal difference (i.e. if we hadn't 'abandoned defence' at Gills) is enough for the play-offs I'll be amazed. Went our way today but expecting one of Southend or Millwall to win next week.

Interesting to hear the ever present but usually out of breath John phoned into Radio Bristol saying the Snake runs around like a headless chicken and that he has seen enough of him to realise he is not good enough.

...just how important could that point, and extra plus 2 on GD, that we threw away at Gillingham be.... It won't be important at all. Aye. The goal difference can't make any difference as Southend are miles ahead on that score and for us to finish level on points with Millwall we would have to draw next week and Millwall lose. Even then, with those extra 2 goals not conceded we would have to beat Millwall 9-0 (have been corrected on this - actually would only need to be 5-0, but still.....) in the last game Feasibly the point could make a difference in catching Southend but it's still a massive long shot and it's most likely it won't even go to the last day. Had we won that Gills game, though, we would be right there now, level on points with Southend, ahead of Rochdale and where we need to be with Millwall. Going for the win was obviously a gamble worth taking and any manager worth his salt would have done the same thing. Them's the breaks. Faint heart never won fair maiden.
