Corbyn has done a fantastic job whatever you think of him to finally get people engaged in politics. In what way exactly?

I get why May called an election, even though she didnt need to, but then she proceexed to preside over one of the worst campaigns ever.
Corbyn may have engaged younger voters, but May seems to have alienated overs
As much as people bang on about the majorigy of people voting for BREXIT, we were talking a few % and there will have been plenty of people like me, who couldnt knowingly vote either way
I just hope there wont be any hypocrisy from JC4PM supporters calling for a minority Government who would have been the same one criticing Cameron in 2010 or May for not having a mandate

The numbers mean that there will be another General Election pretty soon. May has to go.

It's a win for the "free free free for me me me" group. Only in the sense that they`ve stopped the Conservatives being able to govern, without external support. Labour haven`t won; not even close. They`ve merely done less catastrophically, than most people expected. In spite of the worst, most complacent Conservative campaign that I can ever remember, in spite of all the Labour promises ( 10,000 extra policemen on the streets, an extra 30 billion for the NHS, free school meals for all children, etc etc ) Labour still look like finishing 50 seats behind the Tories. I guess there will have to be yet another election, in the not too distant future. I hope the Conservatives have someone worthy of the name in charge by then. Not someone whose policy is to force people coming to the end of their lives, to spend any money they`ve accrued during their lifetime ( on top of the taxes that they`ve paid over the previous fifty odd years ) to enable them to spend their final days with a degree of comfort and dignity.

The good news.
We still have a Tory majority government. The DUP are just Irish Tories, although they may have some strange demands, like "pray the Gay away", or a statue of Billy on a White Charger atop Buckingham Palace. It's a slim majority. The next couple of MP's who croak it will make those particular by-elections interesting.
The SNP were walloped. That will stop the Independent Referendum shouts.
Salmond and Clegg lost their seats. Deep joy.
We will get to hear more from Diane Abbott as soon as she recovers from her illness. Comedy Gold.

I have to laugh. 7 years after the "New Labour" project demise, and the Tories still cannot put together a policy platform that adds up nor one that people can believe in. Looking back, when was the last tome they did, 1988, nearly 30 years ago. Pathetic, even a bloke like Corbyn, who avoids the long term economic impacts of his policies and gambles on a 100% return on public investment (Really!) can take seats off them. With a competent opposition the Tories would be decimated and become as split as Foots labour party in 1983.
This country is being governed by clowns

Say what you want about Corbyn but he's just led an incredible campaign, managed to engage the youth vote like no one has before, for me he is the future of Labour who can only grow from this.

"even a bloke like Corbyn, who avoids the long term economic impacts of his policies and gambles on a 100% return on public investment (Really!) can take seats off them." - That was one of the big mistakes. The Tories just didn't attack the financial side of the Labour Manifesto, which has more holes in it than a tramps vest, as I'm sure you are well aware of.

I disagree. It wasn't an incredible campaign. It was a campaign based on giving everyone free things, and a campaign that appeared to be successful because the Tory campaign was so sh1t. He didn't 'engage' the youth vote, he just offered them free university, with a mention to writing off existing debt.
