It's not comedy it's a f**king disgrace. This is literally the state of everything in this country now. No one actually bothers to study anything, learn anything or prepare for anything because they think the only thing that matters is the 140 characters on Twitter. She's had six months to prep this policy. She's had two weeks to perfect her pitch as part of the Labour campaign this is frightening that she is so sh**. If we can't expect the shadow Home Secretary to be prepared or give a sh** about their job what f**king hope of our teenagers got? f**k all because all anyone cares about in schools now is what gender can go in what f**king toilets. I've said similar before on one of the brexit threads ,schools put too much emphasis on computers ,whilst forgetting to teach kids how to think for themselves and use their hands ,how to find information without the aid of computerts ,need to go back to the traditional things ie sewing cooking metalwork woodwork technical drawing etc ,as if people can use their hands whilst using their brains then theres a whole world of opportunities for different jobs, things like RE have no placed in this world and should not be compulsory, the extra time could be used on maths, as maths is one of the most important things to learn as an example i use fractions weekly Do bookies odds count? Joke. I completely agree with you.

Hence my inability/unwillingness to vote this time round. Thing is the lib/dems come up with a no brainer for me then ruin it by saying they will have another referendum on europe. They said they would finally legalise cannabis allow people to grow a plant a year would have got my vote ,but then they get f**kin stupid by saying they would stop brexit and have another referendum (Bastids) Thing is the Libs are offering a referendum on the deal 'we' agree. People voted leave for many reasons. Not just immigration, not just stupid laws etc. Now leave has won we have to trust Theresa May to get a deal, if she agrees a deal that doesnt stop free movement for instance, i bet that would water off a lot of voters, becauae thats what they wantes

Did anyone watch that mess last night on the tele.......the Debate between various bods? What a complete and utter clusterfeck ! Greens (1 MP), Plaid Cum (3 MP's), Lib Dems (9 MP's), UKIP (0 MP's)....why oh why would May put herself forward to be shouted at by these political pygmies? Corbyn only announced on the day that he was attending and then complains that May will not debate with him. Seriously, did he expect her to drop everything to be on the show just because he was there? As for the audience, well, the BBC outdid themselves here.

John Mcdonnell, the Shadow Chancellor, has not appeared anywhere since it was pointed out to him that paying for the Nationalised industries by swapping shares for Government Bonds would....erm, not work. Abbott is being kept away from everyone, and we all know why. She is totally incompetent. Emily Thornberry doesn't think we can export food to Australia as it "would go off".
These people are not only stupid, they are dangerous.

True, would hate to see potential figures of government shy away from the public. Shameful really.

Seriously, did he expect her to drop everything to be on the show just because he was there? As for the audience, well, the BBC outdid themselves here. This is the worst Conservative election campaign, I can remember. Pitiful. The reason that May didn`t go on the programme last night, was because she feared that no matter how pathetic the candidates ranged against her were, she`d look even worse. If she and her campaign team had thought that she could go on there, and give as good as she`d got, be in no doubt that she would have done. She reminds me of Hilary. Nothing to offer, other than self aggrandizement. I hope that she wins the election by twenty or thirty seats. Enough to keep Leon Trotsky away from the levers of power, but not enough to make life easy for her. That would not be good for the country. I agree with what you say about the makeup of the audience. Where did the BBC dredge them up from? Leftwingloonies r us?

I agree, the Tory campaign has been poor. There are so many open goals for them, but they're not even hitting the target. The costs involved with the Nationalisation is a major one. Now, I don't expect everyone to know what Government Bonds are, or what they are used for, but I do expect the Shadow Chancellor to know what they are. Or are Labour planning to just Nationalise things, and not pay for them ala Venezuela? If so, that will end any future investment in the UK. Just the Water companies alone are valued at a combined cost of 40 billion. Labour oppose the so-called 'Social Care Tax' (selling the house after you die), which in reality is not that bad. However, not a word is being said about Labour plans to drastically reduce the Inheritance Tax threshold, which will mean they'll take more money, from more people, than the Tory Social Care plan! Then there is the Labour Garden Tax.....not a word.

Is that the Labour 'Garden Tax' which a) isn't a policy at all and b) if you're referring to Land Value Tax very likely wouldn't apply to gardens.
Put down the Murdoch press and do some of your own actual research please.

Corbyn has called May out to debate him 1 on 1 on countless occasions, she keeps saying no and he keeps asking because he knows how weak it makes her look. And if she is too scared to debate one man because of how much of a car crash it will be, then I don't really want her negotiating the brexit deal.
She said she didn't have the time for it because of brexit, but she had the time to call a election? She thought it would be a walk in the park to improve her position but it's just made her look inept.

But the Land Value Tax replacing Council Tax is mentioned in the Labour Manifesto.......nobody is making it up! 1. It's mentioned as part of a wider review which would be conducted into council tax and business rates. So yes, the 'Labour plans for a Garden Tax' headline is designed to deceive - related to point 2 as well. 2. Is it a bad thing, as suggested in the Mail/Express/Sun? For people who have one house it'd be less than 1% of land value, not property value. Various studies into implementation of a UK-wide Land Value Tax over the late 2000s into the early 2010s suggest that for any house worth under £1 million today, the LVT would probably be cheaper than Council Tax. So for residential properties its a no brainer. Loads of places use LVT instead of Council Tax (Denmark, Australia and others). It'll happen here eventually. Worth realising that it benefits the majority when you're arguing its a good thing as the Tories bring it in. If people stop scaremongering they may get something which makes their lives easier for once.
