It really is incredible that anyone thinks this utter disaster of a politician should hold one of the four great offices of State! I see she called off an interview this morning on 'Womens Hour', claiming illness. The real Home Secretary turned up for the television debate 48 hrs after her Father died. You do have to wonder what it is about her, that`s helped propel her to the forefront of the Labour party. I assume that was a rhetorical question, it is nearly lunchtime and I don't really want that thought, thank you! |

Abbott is awful, but let's not forget that her appointment to Shadow Home Sec was brought on by mass resignations, she wasn't first choice. There's no chance she makes a cabinet. Unbeleivable. Sorry, but NO government changes tax policy to make things 'easier' for anyone. They do it so they can grab more money......more money for them means less money for you. It really is that simple. You are only half right. The "less money for you" depends on which "you" you are and which party you vote for. The tories have a history of making sure the rich don't end up with less money. |

Heard an interesting "stat" today, having your name at the top of a ballot paper (candidates are listed alphabetically) could gain an extra 2%. That would be enough to change around 40 seats.
Edit: could explain how Diane Abbott gets elected.

I see dear Diane has been pulled from the election (jokes about needing a steam train to do that!). Apparently, she has an 'illness'. I didn't realize that a 'fecking train crash' was an illness. The only problem is that the 'illness' was exposed yesterday by Guido Fawkes

OK, it's prediction time.
I think the British public have a certain sense of what is right, or wrong. I think, as usual, the Left have been the noisier, flooding social media with messages etc, but the silent majority will win the day.
I'm predicting a Tory win, and a big one, 80+ majority.
