Will Wael be using the iFollow portal to help develop the fan base in Jordan?
This is one area where there appears to be little progress at the moment.

Not sure how you'll get around subscribing when the website insists on a none UK address being entered if you choose the "aboard" option, plus spending €130 upfront seems a bit risky if you then find out it doesn't work in the UK? At moment there seems no monthly subscription options even in the UK, as far as I can see on the iFollow website.

At moment there seems no monthly subscription options even in the UK, as far as I can see on the iFollow website. Usually that's easily done using a pre-paid card such as Revolut which isn't linked to a particular postal address, so if you use a USA IP you can enter a US postal address such as a hotel. In this case, after getting the right subscription to come up on the Rovers iFollow page, it doesn't allow progress with registration, even with USA IP. After registering the free account, the only option in upgrades is the UK £45 sub. Maybe one of our resident expats can share their experiences OK - I've got as far as I can tell that iFollow is attempting to charge CAD $190 to my card, and the card is rejecting it due to funds (which is true), so getting the sub should be no problem. The next issue would be whether it's easy to access the live stream

It'll be interesting to see if they offer a monthly subscription deal, which I thought was there intention.

According to the FAQ's I think you're right, a good VPN for streaming (I'm going to look at NordVPN 2 year deal) and that should be enough, as long as it's not a UK or IE server. I can only guess that an annual subscription is easier on EFL accounts for paying the football clubs, or that they need to pay server bills and require initial payments upfront. A monthly payment option is essential really in the long term

So are Charlton, not sure what that means regarding our first game of the season, as will that mean it's not shown live?
I see all our games are going to be shown in full the following day, for away games it's almost tempting to avoid the match and then watch it the following day as if it was a live match.

EFL twitter show the initial iFollow fixture list including the Charlton match on Saturday 5th August. twitter.com/efl?lang=en

I haven't tried to sign up yet. I'm back in the UK now so I'll try when I travel back in a couple of weeks time. I then assume that it'll try and make you pay in the local currency of the country you sign up from. I imagine they will use crap exchange rates so I would rather pay in pounds if possible. I then assume that whatever country you sign up from, it won't matter if you watch from another non UK country. For example, I'll be in Greece for the first game on the season.
As for trying to promote this in Jordan, I don't think it'll be that easy considering they can watch every single premier league game.

There is now an option for Paypal, and billing is in GBP
