No, I was asking you whether you knew this or were making it up. You said it wasn't DC's signing, so he didn't approve it, right, otherwise if he's approved it, it would be his signing, right? So effectively, you're saying he didn't approve it, or am I misunderstanding? And you said Hargreaves wasn't gonna say he wasn't happy. Unless you're implying that he's not happy, then what is the point of even saying that? I wasn't trying to suggest you had said these things specifically, I was saying that in my view what you have said implies them, otherwise why even mention it. I think Randle McM is simply warning us that perhaps Wael is inclined to make signings which perhaps have not been agreed by DC or Hargreaves and that if this is the case then perhaps Hargreaves is upset but fearing for his job will not say so and perhaps DC knew nothing about this before he read it on the web in which case perhaps DC may be very angry and leave the club. But he has said none of these things may have happened and was just raising the possibility and consequences of what might then happen if they did. Hope that clears it up. Well, yeah, that's exactly what I got from it. All I was asking was, does he know this, or is he making it up? We can all guess that this might be the case, does anyone know whether this is the case?

Lets just go back a bit in time.....from day one W.A.Q. said he hoped Rovers would be able to add some Jordanian youngsters to the academy . He never mentioned them being forced into the first team squad or DC having to have the players against his will. DC had the old board and club and saw the limited stuff available ,then saw the stuff that was on offer by the new board and im pretty sure he would have said to himself... new training ground, stadium, better matchday and backroom set up ,better budgets...and all i got to do is give a few jordanian kids a fair crack of the whip in the u23's yeah...im up for that.

What's your thoughts on wael making signings and how would you feel if he signed players for money/first team? Yes, without doubt DC needs to be fully happy with all signings... Hargreaves who runs the development squad seems happy about it based on his quote. Don't foresee a situation like Ge off Dunsford's signing of Rickie Lambert unfortunately. I wonder if the Jordanian FA are paying us to develop Their Young players I say this because during that famous BBC program about Wael in his family, they visited a Jordanian academy where Wael's son i think was training and Wael said Jordan had no real good facilities once the kids reach the age of 16 or 17..... Could be a good revenue stream or maybe they are helping fund our multi million pound academy ??

Welcome to the gas young Mr Abu Hassan.
Can only see this link up as a positive thing. No way would this signing go ahead without the full knowledge of DC,and Wael is a proper gent and absolutely would not try anything like that imo.

Could be a good revenue stream or maybe they are helping fund our multi million pound academy ?? If the Jordanian FA can't afford decent training facilities in Jordan why would they pay us to develop them, wouldn't the money be better spent in their own country improving their own facilities? What it does do is give Jordanians a bigger connection with Rovers, which is good timing with iFollow starting up next season broadcasting live games, perhaps that'll open up bigger advertising opportunities in Jordan for the club. As far as DC not being consulted in view of the fact he has regular conversations with Wael is he really not going to mention he intended signing a player from his homeland.

Good luck to the lad. I don't know why people are concerned. If he isn't good enough he won't get anywhere near the first team. DC is as sentimental as a glass eye. BTW, how tall is Wael. The lad doesn't look big enough to be a centre half. Maybe a full-back. I like what they've done with the clubhouse. Might pop in for a pint next season

Given he's still awaiting international clearance I assume they are both in Jordan but there's little point him in being here until pre-season starts.

With all this excitement for the new Tom Jones look a like ,will the club for the first home game of the new season ,fly over a top belly dance troupe , from Jordan to perform on the pitch ,to make boy feel at home, a nice touch don't you think.
