Surprised nothing has been made public from the latest catch up the board have had. I would have thought if anything in term of progress with Stadium\Training Ground or if a Budget that everyone was happy with had been covered, we would have heard about it by now. As with anything, people don't hesitate to announce good news, only stay quiet if it is bad or have nothing at all to say. Can only assume progress isn't being made at the speed everyone would like it to be. Hopefully I am wrong and the club will make an announcement/statement of intent soon. I'm not the slightest bit surprised - Steve Manuel Hamer must be the most un- communicative Chairman in the Club's History.

I would imagine they are all getting on with their jobs - do you make an announcement every time you do something in you job? if so, where on earth do you get the time to do your job properly?

gasincider - the architect of mis-information and panic - should be renamed Mr Mannering No progress on training ground- fact no progress on Mem pitch on start date- factNot sure about budget- no facts stated just an opinion. Where is the misinformation or panic? Hows that Pike. This is the Club statement - sorry but I cannot find the mention of a start date
A six figure sum will be spent on improvements to the Memorial Stadium as we prepare for the 2017/18 season, the bulk of which will be spent on pitch renovations. In order to give Darrell Clarke’s side the best possible surface to play on, and irrespective of whether or not we will be moving to a new stadium, Rovers will have one of the best playing surfaces in League One. The initial phase of work will see contractors Koro off the pitch surface and then Power Harrow it to help elevate compaction. Next up the surface will be laser levelled before 120 ton of sand is spread over the surface area before it is stone raked and treated with fertiliser before reseeding takes place. A new drainage system will see the installation of a 150mm main drain around two sides of the pitch as well as six new pop up sprinklers to run through the centre of the pitch. Whilst all of this work on the pitch takes place, other areas of the stadium will not be neglected. Already drop kerbs have been installed outside the Supporters Club matchday shop and the Stadium Shop to assist wheelchair users. The car parks have also come under scrutiny and all spaces will be clearly marked and numbered in both the main and inner car parks. Painting and decorating in all areas, new curtains and blinds for the Dribuild Suite, carpet cleaning throughout and the deep cleaning of all kitchen areas also feature on the agenda, as does the provision of a newly refurbished media suite to be used for post-match interviews. All this talk of training grounds and the Mem pitch, budgets etc etc is not the real issue as far as I'm concerned. I cannot be the only Rovers supporter who is on tenderhooks wondering how good will Pippa's wedding dress look.

"He's a platform announcer at Temple Meads." He don't do a sideline as a BingBong man, does he? 'Attention please. No trains to Swindon. 2 motorbikes on the line' sort of thing.

Why should there be a press release/interview following a budget meeting? Whilst I am no expert, I am fairly sure these budget meetings will happen at every club at the end of every season in preparation for the next.
Have we had press releases/interviews after these meetings in previous years? Not that I can remember. Have other clubs done similar? Not that I have seen.
It just so happens that this year, DC has mentioned where and when it will take a place so some people seem to be getting hung up on it.

When did Nick Higgs ever tell us anything? and no a weekly match report on the OS doesn't count.
If you have an issue with communication, talk to the fans directors. When was the last time they publicly said anything?
