Couldn't do much worse than what we've got out there now.
Haha, true. What's Phil Purnell up to these days?
I'd rather Tom Parkes back out there than Moore or Sinclair.

The couple of times I've seen him, he was played through the center and I would say in that role he looked similar to Sercombe obviously if played on the left he would be a different type of player but don't forget that Sercombe has played on the wing before also. From what I can gather Forrester has played 68 times in his career from the left wing, 14 times from the right and 18 times as an attacking midfielder or second striker. Would've been ideal for us IMHO, but I suppose with "nothing in the pipeline" we'll have to make do with Moore or Sinclair out wide for now. Sinclair on the left fills me with no confidence at all works his socks off but lacks the quality to succeed in the role. Moore was very hit and miss last year so hopefully will have a better year this year. Telford can play on the left and Nichols can also be used on the left in a 433 so perhaps it's just not one of DC's priorities to get one in hence DC's "nothing in the pipeline" comment.

Who knows what his thinking is now. Lots of mixed messages from all concerned. Been very underwhelmed with our activity compared with some of the other business done around L1.

Could be a good signing for Muff. Cost Celtic £1.5m

Matty Taylor on loan to Poxford....... Maybe, didn't Charlton get a loan bid rejected though as he was still in their plans? Perhaps a club closer to home might make them more tempted, it would make matches against oxford this season more interesting.

Not really, averaged a goal every 10 games on decent wages. We have Ellis for that

Oxford seem to be getting rid of decent players left, right and centre as we have discovered with Sercombe. 14 in 53 last season for Hemmings isn't an awful return and considering the amount he scored the season before in the SPL, I think it could prove to be a good signing for Mansfield, who seem to be the Bury of league two at the moment.

His wiki says 6 goals in 40?
He did look decent against us but we have made a lot of average strikers look decent.
Should be good in L2 though to be fair, better out there on less wages though id imagine

Wow, Im surprised at this - looked a good forward against us. Im pretty amazed no other L1 club went in for him. Perhaps Mansfield have offered to pay most of his wages.

Surprised we didn't go in for him as he fits the usual criteria of having scored against us

Guy in our office says David Worrall is talking to Southend, Rovers and Oxford.
Apparently he was in Millwalls promotion team from last season and has just terminated his contract by mutual consent. Midfielder. The contract bit is confirmed on Sky !!
