Ah in that case why not say that? I mean if I can get confused and think you're talking about immigrants and Muslims then aren't the racist nutters too? Why would anyone describe immigrants as a new generation? I'm just saying that's how I read it. Language is important as you don't want to have something for the racists to latch onto. Like you said before the NF thought they would be welcome. I would describe young immigrants as the next generation. Some of my friends are 2nd/3rd generation immigrants and their kids will be the next generation. Just like someone arriving today, thier kids would be the next generation

That reads to me like you're talking about immigrants and specifically Muslims. It might not be, but when I see that in the press that's exactly who they are talking about. A new generation means just that. We are talking about the increase in youth violence etc. Ah in that case why not say that? I mean if I can get confused and think you're talking about immigrants and Muslims then aren't the racist nutters too?

I understand you're going to attract some racists and nutters, but this kind of talk is proper dog whistle stuff. Unless I'm reading this completely wrong of course. Who do you think we are talking about? That reads to me like you're talking about immigrants and specifically Muslims. It might not be, but when I see that in the press that's exactly who they are talking about.

This is our Mission Statement. Mission statement The Democratic Football Lads Alliance (DFLA) was formed following the 2017 terrorist attacks in London and Manchester, as a working class voice against social, economic and political injustice. The DFLA objective is plain and simple – to combat terrorism and extremism. The prevention of extremism and protection of the public in this country is not good enough. Government refusal and failure to tackle the roots of extremism which results in terrorist attacks is not good enough. Leaders and authorities failure to protect our Freedom of Expression and right to free speech is not good enough. A new generation walking among us with no regard for British Law or Values or Traditions while implementing their own anarchic standards is not good enough. The DFLA shuns the failed extremist politics particularly far-left and far-right groups with hidden agendas faking working class interests. We are anti- racist and anti-violence with no intention of seeking a political position but every intention of seeking justice based on what is right and wrong. We are not seeking to alienate any demographic but are seeking to bring to justice anyone who believes they are above the laws of this land and the values and traditions of our Country. The DFLA opposes all forms of bigotry and sectarianism while embracing all sections of our society seeking to lobby, peacefully protest and hold to account Central & Local Government and all authority failing to protect and serve us as a Nation. Justice must be served on those living among us who create terror with extreme values and behaviour – whatever their motive. The protection of our children's future is paramount. We will not tolerate the escalating modern scourges of grooming, gang rape and street crime – both from offenders and those in authority who hide or deny their existence. The DFLA believes in Freedom of Expression and intends to defend our right to free speech and responsibly use our freedom to campaign and debate our core beliefs and values within this mission statement. Members and allies are encouraged to positively contribute and debate to the growth and progression of our Alliance with respect to the course set out in this mission statement. This is the DFLA. I understand you're going to attract some racists and nutters, but this kind of talk is proper dog whistle stuff. Unless I'm reading this completely wrong of course.

I might be in the minority here, but I think the attacking options we have are pretty decent. JCH and Moore as the target men, Reilly and Smith as the runners and Nichols doing whatever he does.
Smith really impressed me on Saturday. I think we could have a really good player on our hands there.
As for the rest we are crying out for a left winger, but I think the first half against Brum showed signs of what we can create against a decent side.
Swansea will be an interesting one as Nichols will be starting. Lets see if he can carry his form into a game against decent opposition

If she's unqualified because she's played women's football and not mens, could you explain to me the differences in rules/formations/tactics between the men's and women's games? I don't really understand why she's unqualified as the game is exactly the same. For what it's worth I think she's better than most male pundits. Exactly the same game as played in the Toolstation and I don't expect to see an ex Bitton player appearing on the box anytime soon. She has absolutely no experience of the games she is expressing an opinion upon. Your definition of 'experience' is solely in the men's game. Given that who would you say is most experienced to give their opinion on the game, Alex Scott or Adam Virgo?

Alex Scott has 140 England caps, has won everything she can domestically and in Europe with Arsenal, is an Olympian and has a degree in Professional Sports Writing and Broadcasting. While I agree more journalists and writers would add to football analysis, if Scott ever were to pundit on MOTD she'd be the most qualified person on the panel. What does her achievements in the womens game or academia have to do with her credibility as a pundit on a mens football match ? Everyone I know expects whoever is offering an insight into a game to have experienced a similar situation which s probably why an excellent pundit like Liam Rosenior won't ever get near a CL match. I didn't watch any of the WC coverage, but were there any/many male pundits? If so they had no business being there. If she's unqualified because she's played women's football and not mens, could you explain to me the differences in rules/formations/tactics between the men's and women's games? I don't really understand why she's unqualified as the game is exactly the same. For what it's worth I think she's better than most male pundits.

Nice show, too many sh1theads IMO. Gas Castle sounds like an Indie band from the 90s. Also, why correct yourself from saying "the women's team" to Gas Girls? Hopefully the popularity and success of the World Cup will help our new team do well, sounds like they're expecting to get a few promotions in a row. Could not make up my mind what to call them! I agree too many teds. I'm seeing it as a chance to rehabilitate them...

In this episode Tom Metcalfe went up to Lockleaze sports centre to find out more about the Gas Girls at their final open training session. He speaks to Matty Davies from the Bristol Rovers Community Trust and the manager Nathan Hallett-Young about the hopes for the girls in the coming season. He also speaks to some of the Girls about why they want to play for Bristol Rovers and their expectations for the season. listen.gas-cast.co.uk/276671/1364521-a-chat-with-the-gas-girls
